5 Years ago, on Summer vacation in Ireland, Renner Caldwell crosses paths with Cillian O'Braidagh.
The night before she heads back to the States, Renner meets Cillian, lead singer of Over the Edge. After a steamy kiss that ends up going no where, Renner leaves for home with a constant reminder of the sexy Rocker.

5 Years later we see Renner is back in Ireland. Hiding out after losing her job and boyfriend to a scandal. With no clue what she wants out of life, she heads to Ireland to have a break and see where life is taking her.
What she doesn't count on is running into the Sexy lead singer from 5 yrs ago.

Renner knew that Cillian had made it big. She has often fantasied what could of been. But also knows thats Cillian is not what she is looking for.
Renner, is responsible. She arrives to work early, pays her bills 5 days before they are due, and she never, ever would get involved with a musician. That would be way to risky!

Cillian, O’Braidagh is the front man of, Over The Edge an up and coming Irish Rock band.
One Night 5 yrs ago, Cillian, met a young fiery red head that set his world of fire. Over the years he too also had often wondered about her. When he finds out she is back in town, he sets out to have his Cailín álainn.

But Renner isn't about to make it easy on him. She wants nothing to do with Cillian. She knows exactly his type.
There is nothing more fun then a love/hate relationship with some underlying sexual tension.
Renner and Cillian do it well. Though they both can feel the connection, Renner refuses to give into him. Instead their banter is what keeps things heated between them.

~"My Cailín álainn has some claws. I'm going to enjoy them when they're sunk into my back while I'm riding you."~ Cillian 

~"You're are conceited, egotistical, jackass and the only place my claws will be sunk will be in your balls if you try to touch me again."~ Ren

Renner is constantly fighting it. This Man has the ability to break her. After experiencing the massive blow up back home, she can't move past her trust issues.

~ "What are you really afraid of, Ren?" ~ 

~ "I'm afraid of getting lost." ~ 

Cillian will do anything to get what he wants.
Slowly he wears her down, and then we get to meet bossy and controlling Alpha Cillian… WOW he was sexy hot!

~"Put your fucking legs around me, Renner, or I'll do it for you." ~ 

For both Ren and Cillian, they felt that the sexual tension between them, was just that, sexual desire. Nothing else. But once they get a fill of each other, they can't seem to get enough.

~ "This is going to be fast," he warns. "I'm going to get you off with my hand, because I'm dying to see you come. Right here. Right now. Just for me. Then I'm going home with you tonight, and I'm going to fuck you so hard, you're going to be sore tomorrow. And every time you take a step tomorrow, every time you feel that little sting of pain, you're going to remember that it was me between your legs all night. Are we clear?" ~ 

There sex was hot! but it becomes so much more. Their feelings grow and soon what was meant to be a hook up, turns into this amazing relationship.

~ "In all my life," he whispers. "I'll never forget the way you look right now. You devastate my senses." ~ 

I liked Renner, she isn't one to beat around the bush. She says it like it is and I loved that about her. I felt her frustration with Cillian. But she was still not afraid to let him know where she stood.
Cillian is controlling and bossy and holds a dark past to himself. Ultimately, it effects his relationship with Ren. When his friend and band mate, Maeve comes between Ren and Cillian, things become strained.

I just wanted to do this every time Maeve was around…

Cillian, becomes blinded by her actions due to his guilt that he holds over himself. And it's the only thing between the two that is not right.
Though at times he is so blinded you just want to slap him upside of the head, you could understand his denial.

~ "I didn't tell you because I don't take orders. And that display? That was so you never forget that your body responds to me, no matter what demands come out of that fuckable mouth of yours." ~ 

Their road is rocky, and Cillian does make some dumb ass decisions. But eventually they get their HEA.

But not before grovelling to the Caldwell boys. PMSL
The scene in the bar with Nix and Flynn….

~ “Man…that was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. Practically made me cry. In fact, you might want to run to the bathroom right now and check…but I think you might have just grown a vagina.” ~  Nix

The Epilogue left me craving Flynn. I can't wait for his story and I can't wait to hear where everyone is at in their life. I will be sad it will be over.. But seriously looking forward to what Sawyer comes up with next.

As always Sawyer knocked it out of the park.
This series is freaking awesome and I don't want it to end!
I'm so in love with everyone of them so far. They all offer something different that leaves me walking away with wanting more.

Ok..
I hate it when I'm not 100% sure what I want to rate a book. Sometimes it's just too much pressure.
What works for one might not work for the other.
I have sat on this for 2 days now and I'm still stuck.
So I'm reviewing this one a little different to my normal style.


Did I enjoy Axel?
YES
Did I absolutely fall in love with it?
NO
Did I get a healthy dose of Alpha Males?
YES
Were there awesome sexy times?
YES
Did it frustrate me?
OMG YES
Would I read the next one?
HELL YES



So I guess what I'm saying is I didn't love it love it I just liked it.

Lets talk about the things I did like.


GREG….. Sweet mother of GOD give me Greg right now. I wan't him yesterday…

~"Baby girl? I know you're scared. Iz mark my fucking words, he will not touch you. Do you hear me? He won't breathe your fucking air, I promise you that."~

Seriously I can NOT Wait for his story.
He was my type of Alpha

~"Oh really? So, you can see through fucking wood and steel now? I didn't realise you picked up fucking super powers. Remind me next time to just have you beam me the hell over, sure as fuck will save on the gas." ~

Hahah I kinda liked him more than Axel…..


But that's not to say Axel wasn't good. He was, he was total sexy badass.

~“She was mine.
She is mine.
She will always fucking be mine.”~

I loved the sexy times.

~ "You feel how fucking hard I am for you? I can feel your warm fucking c*nt hugging my dick, even through my god damn pants, you are on fire for me." ~

I loved all the Bad Ass Men of Corps Security.

I loved Isabelle's side when she was carefree and little a bad ass. She was funny at times

~ “Axel Reid, you wake up right now!” I yell. “Get your paws off my tit and call your dick off its search for my pussy, he found it asshole, now back off.”~

I really loved it when they finally got together. Bring on the sexy times, the sweet words and playfulness any day.

~“Never again, Izzy West. I will never again let anyone take you from me, or anything from us.” ~

Loved that they finally got their HEA.

But there were a couple of things that really frustrated me. And for me, it took away what could of been epic.


I wish Isabelle communicated a lot sooner. I thought that if you were standing in front of the man you loved and thought dead you would ask "How is that possible?"
She just assumed and from there was the delaying in communicating.

~“Process? What the hell is there to process? Where are you, Izzy? Not asking you again, and I am not fucking doing this text message shit like a goddamn prepubescent little shit.”

I hated the stressed feeling I got because I was an emotional mess waiting for them to communicate. I destroyed my nails reading this.


You know the moment when your waiting for them to finally click where it all went wrong. Then you can breathe easy. Well it felt like I couldn't catch my breathe for 50% of the book.
In saying that, some people love Angst. For me, too much angst stresses me. hahhaha

I really didn't like the way she treated Greg, not talking to him for ages.
But when he finally gets her to talk it was like a 2 sec apology and she was over it lol.

For a little bit at the start I thought we were gonna have a love triangle there.
I was getting mixed signals. But maybe I was just hoping to see some Greg ACTION hahaha.

I think a little more detail on The Corpse Security would of been really awesome. You know, seeing them in action, being their badass selves.
Maybe that will come as the series moves forward?



Overall Harper Sloan's debut definitely kept me interested.
She has all the ingredients for an amazing series, I guess for me the storyline of these 2 particular characters frustrated me, taking away everything else.

I have no doubt Greg's story is what will turn my view of this series from being good to freaking awesome.

I love series on siblings.
The Lodge brothers Jake, Quinn and Colton with their baby sister Dawn tick all the right boxes for me.








Sophie is a landscape architect who works for her uncle's firm designing golf courses. Sophie finds herself in rural Montana trying to convince the locals to build the golf course on local Kooskia tribe's land.
While out surveying the land Sophie, is literally swept off her feet, when sexy Cowboy, Jake picks her right up onto his Horse.

Jake is a single father trying to balance life with his daughter, his ranch, and being Tribal lawyer.
Jake is instantly attracted to Sophie.

~"I caught her. I get to keep her".~

The next day Sophie finds herself going head to head with the tribe's lawyer.
The sexy Cowboy that rescued her up on to his horse…

Jake will fight her all the way on the land, they will not allow the golf course to go ahead.
Sophie needs her proposal to be approve, for the sake of her Uncles firm.
She is in Montana to get approval then leave. What she wasn't expecting was to fall in love with the county, and have eyes for the sexy Tribal Lawyer.

Jake is straightforward about his attraction. Jake decides he wants Sophie for as long as she is in town.

The sex was steaming. Jake was definitely bossy. Love me a bossy man. But he still was sweet.

I really liked the storyline.
A sexy, domineering, alpha men , a sassy, feisty woman, awesome secondary characters and one really cute little girl.

Rebecca Zanetti's, Against the Wall, is the first book of hers that I've read. It definitely won't be the last.
I can't wait for the next in the series.

I really enjoyed this!
I picked this up as a freebie on Amazon and what a little treat.


Yes the sexy hunky CEO who falls in love with his PA has been done before but... I really enjoyed Henry in the fact that they didn't rush in and start humping right on his desk on day one.
It's a slow build up. There are things that happen that make them realise their feelings for each other and bring them together.

I loved the scene when Sebastian and Henry save her from the date from hell Omg something is wrong with me cause I was like ohhh yes get it on, do it!.... hahhaha so wrong.

I love love love books with children in them and Ethan omg how cute is Ethan!!

I loved all the brothers they were great! I couldn't believe his mother!!! Seriously, was pretty shocking considering how sweet her sons were.. but all is well in the end!

Can NOT wait to get my hands on Sebastian. Need it now!

Dylan stopped peeling and stared at his face. He was so full of himself that sometime she wanted to slap her own cheek for even holding him in the high regards that she did.

Ben has not been home in five years.His mother is depressed and has a certain way of taking it out on him. His father is absent but dominating. His only solace in life are the Mathews, a loving family that Ben has found refuge in since he was a small child. Returning home to find the feelings for Dylan haven't changed only this time he decides he can't stay away.

Their relationship is kept quite with sneaking around until they decide that they don't want to hide it anymore
That's until Ben's life comes crashing down around him, he pushes away the only family that have been there for him. Including Dylan.


The best thing about this story…
Dylan and all her family!
I loved everyone one of them.
I loved all her brothers and how protective they were.


You really do feel for Ben and what his parents put him through.
Still a few times I was like "Oh Ben!! Seriously!!!"

But in the end he can see the love has been there all along.

"You're the girl who loves pink but won't admit it because you're afraid it will make you sound too girly. You're afraid of moths because you think they'll eat your hair, and hate chalk."
