Love, Harper

JB Salsbury – Fighting For Honor New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author JB Salsbury brings her Fighting series to Harper Sloan’s Hope Town in this Kindle Worlds exclusive, Fighting for Honor. UFL fighter Caleb hasn’t been to Hope Town since he was eighteen. His next big fight takes place in Atlanta and the serene lakefront home from his childhood is the perfect place to train without distractions. Until he stumbles downstairs to find a woman in his house. He’s met her before, and he’s never forgotten. Honor was raised by her grandfather, Crazy Colonel Cartwright. Ostracized at a young age she was an outcast. Combined with her awkward personality and she became the local bully’s favorite plaything. Honor and Caleb come face-to-face and feelings from fourteen years ago come rushing back—not all of them good. She prefers to remain unknown, but she’s seen in public with the world’s most talked about fighter and thrust into a national spotlight that catches the attention of her childhood tormentors. And they aren’t finished with her yet.

Felicia Lynn: How To Breathe I can’t go back to the man I was any more than I can forget the memories locked inside me. Few men qualified for the mission and even fewer were willing to accept the required life sentence. Counting the days, good and bad, I exist as the world keeps spinning. There’s a price to pay for a life with a greater purpose, but the healing of time is a damn liar. I’m supposed to be a dead man, and the silence couldn’t be more deafening. Even though I could never look back, I thought I’d taken enough out of that life to carry me forward. The success of the mission was meant to give the tragedy of my life meaning, but I’ve been stuck in this wreckage of my past . . . until now. One look into her eyes disarms me. These walls I’ve built shouldn’t break on their own, but they crumble whenever she’s near. I’ve spent years waiting for a reason to breathe again, and now that I have her within reach, I’m not sure I can keep her. Is it possible to find both the missing piece of my soul and the remedy to my healing in one set of bright green eyes?

JM Walker: For You Brogan Tapp tries to be strong. Guilt and fear that the man she loves will fall within himself and not know how to find his way out, haunts her. Coby Porter vows not to let the demons in his mind take over. He plans a trip to save his relationship, once and for all. Hope Town, Georgia is the saving grace for their love, before the nightmares consume them both.
SR Watson – Deliverance
Bleu Loren
My life has never been my own. I've always been a rule follower—the obedient girl who always did what she was told. I played the part given to me and got engaged to the man my parents set me up with. He was supposed to be my Prince Charming. He promised me a happily ever after, only he delivered a nightmare instead. Now I'm on the run. No money. No plan. Just freedom. How ironic is it that my desperate escape lands me in a place called Hope Town? I lost hope a long time ago.
Beau Rivers Lair
I'm a manwhore. It's a known fact and exactly how I like it. I make my own rules and live without expectations. Returning to Hope Town to help the woman who raised me with her restaurant meant my past was here to greet me, but I refuse to allow the mirage of possibilities to engulf me a second time around. I don't believe in love or fairy-tale endings. There's lust, and there's screwing. I don't have time for anyone or anything outside of these two principles. There is no hope for me. Accept it or not ... you've been warned!

Somethin’ Bad by Cat Mason Tequila can make a woman do somethin’ stupid. Somethin’ bad… After celebrating my birthday with my best friends turns into the most embarrassing night of my life, the last thing I expected was to see him walk into my bakery. The sexy smile on his face lets me know that he has no intention of letting me off the hook either. He doesn’t want an apology or an explanation. He wants me. The way Matt Hudson crashes into my life and bosses me around as if he has known me all my life is frustrating. What’s even worse is the power he has to bring me to my knees with the flash of one his panty-melting smiles. He steals my control without even trying. Makes me want. Makes me need. Even when my life begins to unravel right before my eyes, there is a part of me hoping that the man my friends have dubbed Hunk P.D. may be something good to come out of all my heartache.

Blurb:
I’m Dr. Nick Raines.
Brain surgeon and notorious over-thinker, I take the analytical approach with everything, until I can determine the best, carefully calculated plan of action. It’s no shock the producers of the popular reality series The Doctor Is In have decided to call me Dr. Neurotic.
Besides my more than full-time job as Chief of Neurosurgery at St. Luke’s Hospital, I’m a single dad and my number one priority is my daughter.
But life had plans to add another priority to my list.
Charlotte Hollis. Outspoken, impulsive, and beautiful, she’s everything I didn’t know I was craving.
She makes me wonder What if?
What if I don’t have to be alone for the rest of my life to give my little girl the father she deserves?

With a quick smack and a groan, I silenced the alarm and rolled over to my stomach to shove my head into the fluff of my pillow.
      “Oh my God,” I grumbled.
Even the sound of my own voice was grating.
Great, I thought. This should make work interesting.
I grabbed my phone off of my nightstand, rolled back onto my back, and typed out a quick message.

Me: So, apparently, you’re a sadist.
A reply popped up nearly immediately.

      Charlotte: Wimp.

      Me: I’m actually sore.

Charlotte: It takes time to acclimate to the dance life. You’ve got good moves, though. Be proud, soldier, be proud.

Me: Oh, so I suppose you’re completely fine?

      Charlotte: Yep. ;)

Me: I kind of hate you.
Charlotte: That wears off. Trust me. Pretty soon you won’t be able to live without me.

3.5 "Lost Time" Stars

I love a changed man. And after having met a version of Nick that wasn't very loveable in Scoring the Billionaire, I was really excited to see Max Monroe give me a single father worthy of drooling over and, of course, they pulled it off. Nick made mistakes in his past, but he's been working his best to change his perception. And just when he's making headway, he meets "the one". Yet it seems that maybe he's going to have to choose between the two ladies in his life once again because life can be seriously unfair.

Dr. Neuro was sexy and sweet. I laughed and swooned and had my fingers and toes crossed that Charlotte and Nick would be able to make a go of it because they were just so perfect together. Then when the other shoe dropped (one I never in a million years saw coming), I wondered how in the world they'd be able to make it work. In the end I was impressed and smiling sweetly at just how right it all turned out to be. As an aside the premise of the reality show wasn't really as involved as I would have liked and the angst was at a minimum but I was still thrilled and captivated by Nick, Chalrotte and the life they made together.

EXCERPT

Ginger opened her eyes to the feel of Garrick’s fingertips lightly stroking the side of her face and realized she’d fallen asleep.
Breathing deep, she sat back, wincing at the pinch in her spine. “How long was I out?” she asked groggily as she touched her fingers to her hot, damp cheek—the one that’d been pressed against his chest.
“About an hour.” Garrick plucked his shirt, grimacing. “You drool.”
“I do not!” Ginger flushed, feeling fifty shades of embarrassed. Because sometimes she did drool. But she was not about to admit that.
“Tell that to my shirt.” He looked over at her and smirked. “No worries, babe. Your secret is safe with me. Besides, it’s nice to know you have at least one flaw.”
Ginger scowled, then frowned as his words registered. “You thought I was, what, perfect?”
“The thought had occurred to me.” Standing, Garrick crossed his arms over one another, grabbed the hem of his shirt, and stripped it over his head.
Ginger could only stare at the perfection he presented. Even for an older man, he had an incredible body. It was obvious from the thick, defined muscle that he took care of himself. And that dusting of salt and pepper hair that ran in an upside-down V from his chest to his waistband got her panties all in a twist.
He was so masculine and sexy, it hurt to look at him.
Licking her lips, Ginger remembered their conversation. “Well, I’m not perfect. I’m just me. You though…wow.”
Oh man, had she just said that out loud? Garrick’s gaze captured hers, and yeah, she definitely had. And it was clearly going to his head.
And not the one in his pants.
“Like what you see?”
Well, she’d already stuck her foot in it. No sense in beating around the bush now. “You know I do.” They’d had sex before, and she’d let him go down on her last night. Considering how wet she’d been then, it should be obvious.
“Then maybe,” Garrick said, his gruff voice full of seduction as he leaned down over her, bracing his hands on the back of the couch, so she had to tilt her head all the way back to meet his eyes, “you should act on it.”
Ginger pressed her lips together. Her fingers itched to touch him, to explore the body that’d felt so good on hers so long ago. She wanted to get properly reacquainted. But should she? She’d already messed up and let him do things she never should have allowed. If she took this step, if she let him have her completely…he’d have her completely.
And he knew it.

REVIEW

Why was i so stupid and not read books 1 and 2 first? ughh  I'm an idiot!!!

Ok so i join this series on book 3 ( I will be reading 1 and 2 ASAP!)

Repo and Ginger.

Repo decides that it's time for him to take an ol' lady again.  The first one didn't work out but he knows that Ginger is the one for him.  He spreads the word around the Spartans that she's not to be touched.

Ginger is a bunny of sorts but she has the men's respect.  Having been with them for years and working the bar she acts as a sort of mother to them.  They go to her for comfort and advice and a bit of fun.  Ginger is happy with this.  After her disastrous relationship with Hawke, Ginger knows shes better off on her own.  She will never be controlled by a man again so she uses the brothers as much as they use her.  That is until it all stops at Repo's say so.

Angry that Repo has claimed her she is determined to fight him tooth and nail.  No way is he going to control her and no way was she being anyone's ol' lady.

Repo has a fight on his hands.  Not only from Ginger but from an unknown threat.  They thought everything would be quiet for a while after getting rid of Ricky Cruiz.  They were wrong.

I really really wished i had read the first two so please be aware and definitely read the whole the series.  I did follow it don't get me wrong.  There was enough catch up to let me know what went on before but i think it spoiled my enjoyment because i didn't know it in detail.

I loved the way the book is written.  The POV is from various people even the baddies so i loved getting into all their heads! The story was well paced and kept my rapt attention to the end.  I love how it's a continuing story too so I'm waiting for the next release on the edge of my seat!

I loved Repo! He's your typical pig headed neanderthal biker but i love the softness he had for Ginger even if she didn't always see it.  His speech to Ginger near the end had me "awwwww"ing big time!!! sigh... he really is kinda sweet! lol

Ginger is amazing! She's so strong and independent with a vulnerable undercurrent that she refuses to show.  I love how she sticks to her guns although sometimes i wished she hadn't for Repo's sake lol

The whole cast of characters have my attention but I'm particularly looking forwards to seeing what Taco is up to!

Overall a highly enjoyable and i would definitely recommend it, but please be aware it's part of a series and for the best enjoyment read it from the start!

*** RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW *** Nineteen Letters by Jodi Perry

Title: Nineteen Letters
Author: Jodi Perry
Publisher: Hachette Australia Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: August 29, 2017

Blurb
Nineteen. There’s something about that number; it not only brought us together, bonding us forever, it also played a hand in tearing us apart.
The nineteenth of January 1996. I’ll never forget it. It was the day we met. I was seven and she was six. It was the day she moved in next door, and the day I developed my first crush on a girl.
Exactly nineteen years later, all my dreams came true when she became my wife. She was the love of my life. My soul mate. My everything. The reason I looked forward to waking up every morning.
Then tragedy struck. Nineteen days after we married, she was in an accident that would change our lives forever. When she woke from her coma, she had no memory of me, of us, of the love we shared.
I was crushed. She was my air, and without her I couldn’t breathe.
The sparkle that once glistened her eyes when she looked at me was gone. To her, now, I was a stranger. I had not only lost my wife, I had lost my best friend.
But I refused to let this tragedy be the end of us. That’s when I started to write her letters, stories of our life. Of when we met. About the happier times, and everything we had experienced together.
What we had was far too beautiful to be forgotten.

Review
3 "Sweet" Stars

Nineteen Letters was a kind of really sweet second chance romance. It showed the depth of love and devotion that is possible and just how far someone will go for their love of their life. Braxton and Jemma faced huge hurdles but one thing that never wavered was Braxton's love and devotion. While I didn't quite the deep ranging emotions I was expecting, it was a still a sweet (if at times too sweet) love story that proves true love exists.

CHAPTER ONE
Jemma
It’s a wet and dreary morning is the first thing I hear when the radio booms to life, alerting me to the fact it’s time to get up.
Dreary doesn’t even come close. The thought of no longer being able to spend every waking minute with my gorgeous husband has already put a dampener on my day. I can’t believe our time off together has come to an end. I hate that I have to go back to work this morning, and leave the little bubble Braxton and I have been living in for the past four weeks.
Right up until the wedding, things were so busy with our careers, building our dream house and organising our special day. Everything combined seemed to take away from us being together. This one-on-one time we’ve had since tying the knot was just what we both needed.
‘Morning, Mrs Spencer.’
He rolls onto his side, pulling me further into his warm, luscious body. It has been exactly nineteen days since we exchanged wedding vows, and I’m still floating.
‘Morning, Mr Spencer.’ I lean my forehead against his. ‘I’m not ready to go back to work. I can’t stand the thought of spending the entire day without you.’
He chuckles as his teeth nip at my pouting lip. ‘I feel exactly the same way, babe. Our time off has gone way too quick. We should have taken two months off, instead of one.’
Despite him being a constant figure in my daily life, for the past nineteen years, I still get a rush when I think about what our future together holds.
I met Braxton when my parents and I moved in next door. We were just kids, but we’ve been inseparable ever since. He’s my one and only. He always has been, and always will be. He’s not only the love of my life; he’s my best friend, my soul mate, my forever boy.
He’s incredibly dreamy, with his movie-star looks. I run my fingers through his sandy blond hair as my eyes roam over his perfectly sculpted face; his big blue eyes pop against his tanned skin. He has a smile that makes my knees weak. His front tooth turns in ever so slightly, but it takes nothing away from his Colgate-worthy smile.
When he realises I’m checking him out, the sexy grin that I adore appears on his face. It highlights the cute dimple in his left cheek. To this day, he still manages to turn my insides to mush, but it’s his inner beauty that affects me the most.
‘I could always call in sick,’ I say, perking up for a moment, but in reality I know it’s not possible. I have a big client coming in first thing Monday morning, and I need to prepare.
‘If I didn’t have this damn meeting later this morning, I’d say do it,’ he replies, smiling.
‘I’m going to miss you.’
‘I’m going to miss you too, Jem. The past four weeks have been my kind of heaven.’
I sigh. ‘I’d give anything to be back in Kauai right now.’
My fingers move from his hair and skim down the side of his face as I speak. The beach has always been our favourite place. That’s why we built our dream home overlooking the ocean. The soothing sound of the waves crashing against the shore as I drift off to sleep every night, and the sweet smell of sea air first thing in the morning . . . it’s cathartic. It’s also one of the reasons we chose Hawaii—a beautiful villa on the majestic shores of Tunnels Beach—as the place to spend the first two weeks of our married life.
‘Me too.’ He gives me a wistful look. ‘I’ll take you back there over the Christmas break, I promise.’
‘I’d like that.’ My fingertips dance over his collarbone, before moving across his shoulder. When I run a path down his strong back, he groans.
I sigh again when I think that Christmas is ten months away, but I guess we have the rest of our lives together to create the kind of memories we did in Hawaii.
Untangling my legs from his, I pause briefly. I don’t want to leave him. I exhale a drawn-out breath. ‘I suppose I better jump in the shower.’
‘Would you like some company?’
Reaching for me, he rolls onto his back, taking me with him. I laugh when he wiggles his eyebrows. I straddle his waist before covering his mouth with mine. My shower can wait. Making love to my man is much more important.
Sliding forward, I line myself up. His strong hands grip my hips, and we moan in unison as I sink down onto him. My eyes lock with his as I slowly rock my body against him. ‘I love you, Brax.’
‘I love you too, Jem. So much.’
He reaches for my hands, lacing his fingers through mine. We’ve always had such a strong bond, but when we’re connected like this, we become one. I’ll never tire of these feelings he evokes in me.
There are times I feel guilty because together, we’re perfect. None of our friends have the kind of relationship Braxton and I do. What we have is unbreakable. Sometimes my feelings for him overwhelm me. I’m not sure how either of us would survive without the other.
---
As I rush around putting the finishing touches on my make-up, I catch a glimpse of Braxton in the mirror. He’s leaning up against the doorframe watching me get ready. He’s shirtless and wearing a pair of grey sweats that hang low on his hips. My pulse quickens as my eyes rake over his bare chest, and each delicious muscle that defines his torso, from the perfect V just above the waistband, right up to his washboard abs. One of my favourite things to do is watch him work out on the small home gym he set up in the garage. I don’t think he even realises how sexy he is. Growing up, he didn’t notice the way all the girls swooned over him. But I did.
My eyes move back to his, and the adoring look on his face sends my heart into a flutter. The sheer love I feel for this man consumes every fibre of my being. It’s euphoric.
‘How long have you been standing there?’ I ask as my mouth curves into a smile.
‘I’m just admiring my beautiful wife.’ I love hearing him call me his wife.
He pushes off the doorframe and stalks towards me. When his arms encircle my waist, he pulls me back into him. A soft moan falls from my mouth as his lips trail a path up my neck. I tilt my head to the side, allowing him better access.
‘I’m already running late,’ I breathe.
‘I wish you didn’t have to go.’ His warm breath on my skin leaves goosebumps in its wake.
‘Me either.’
‘The next eight hours are going to feel like an eternity.’
I sigh in agreement. ‘I know.’
His tongue glides over the sensitive spot behind my ear, sending shivers down my spine. He did that on purpose. ‘Don’t make any plans for tonight, because I’m taking you out to dinner.’
‘You’re taking me out? Where?’
‘The Sea Shanty.’ He groans as he sucks my earlobe into his mouth.
‘What’s the special occasion?’
‘Our anniversary.’
My eyes fly open to meet his in the mirror. ‘Our what?’ My mind starts to race. What anniversary?
He turns me in his arms so I’m facing him, and pulls a small black box from his pocket. ‘I was going to give this to you tonight, but I want you to have it now. Happy nineteenth anniversary, sweetheart.’
My hands tremble slightly as I take hold of the box. That’s when I remember that today we have been married for nineteen days, and a huge smile breaks out on my face. The number nineteen has always held special significance for us.
Tears of happiness pool in my eyes as I open the lid. Inside I find a white-gold necklace that’s holding a diamond-encrusted number-nineteen pendant.
‘Oh Braxton, it’s beautiful. I love it . . . I love you.’
