PLAYING BY HEART

BY J.B SALSBURY

BLURB

Jesse Lee is the worst!

He’s a multi-millionaire, triple-platinum-selling, Grammy-Award-winning man-slut—a worldly, self-indulgent heathen. I wouldn’t sleep with him if he were our last chance to ensure survival of the human race. The only reason I put up with him is because he’s my boss’s brother.

Whatsherface is one of those holier-than-thou types.

She’s bossy, has a horrific singing voice, and she’s so ordinary, she practically blends in with the eggshell-colored walls—the complete opposite of anyone I’d bang. The only reason I put up with her is because my career is on the line.

Playing by Heart is an enemies-to-lovers romance where opposites not only attract, they ignite.

REVIEW

I loved this. I love how JB Salsbury writes her hero's. Her Fighting series features some of my all time favorite book boyfriends and Jesse has just joined them. Little bit douchey, a lot sexy, and hella swoonworthy. Love em!

Jesse Lee's career is on the rocks. Drinking and drug taking rule his life. His management and band have had enough. They are giving him one final chance. Clean up or lose it all. He knows he can't lose it and agrees to go to rehab... The catch? He has to stay with his estranged brother in the middle of nowhere. Jesse just thinks he'll do his time and carry on as normal that is until he starts to stay sober and see what's around him. Which includes the plain jane baby sitter Bethany.

Bethany is lovesick. Her ex sent her off the rails but she still loves him. Determined to wait it out she's sure he'll come back to her. In the meantime she's working off a debt babysitting and working in a restaurant. She's saving to go back to school so needs every penny she can get.

When the rude arrogant rock star Jesse Lee turns up at her place of work she's less than impressed. He does everything in his power to make her uncomfortable and annoy her. Including making her hot under the collar. She's offered another job babysitting, this time for the rocker with the lure of cash to get her out of debt she takes it. Begrudgingly.

The more time they spend together the more they annoy each other. But, something has to give because the growing attraction between them won't be tapered.

I was so drawn to both these characters. Beth is so sweet with a little wild side she tries to keep hidden. I loved how Jesse draws it out of her without even trying. She's so loveable i wasn't surprised at all he fell for her.

Jesse Lee for me is right up with the best book boyfriends you can get. He's mean and arrogant and big headed to start with. A typical Rock Star that has your panties burning. But then as the story goes on layer after layer starts to fall away and you find the man underneath it who is worth 10x more than the bad boy rocker.

I loved the storyline. There was a few separate plots going on at once and i loved how it all wove together seamlessly. The ending left me with the biggest smile and i found myself having a little daydream of meeting my own rocker!! lol

I'm keeping everything crossed that there's more for these guys. Namely Ben!!! Please give us his story!!!!

I also loved the little cameo by one of the characters from the fighting series Ryder!!! whoop whoop he's a rock Star!!! Not sure how his dad will feel about that! lol He also needs his story told!!

I bloody loved it!! Left me smiling, hot and in love. I'd definitely recommend it to all you Rock Star Romance lovers. Brilliant.

***RELEASE BLITZ*** Havoc by Kindle Alexander

Title: Havoc
Series: Tattoos & Ties #1
Author: Kindle Alexander
Genre: M/M MC Romance
Release Date: November 27, 2018

Keyes Dixon’s life is challenging enough as a full patch member of the Disciples of Havoc Motorcycle Club but being a gay biker leaves him traveling down one tough road. With an abusive past and his vow to the club cementing his future, he doesn’t believe in love and steers clear of commitment. But a midnight ride leads to a chance meeting with a sexy pretty-boy in a wicked hot sports car that has him going down quicker than a Harley on ice.

Cocky Assistant District Attorney Alec Pierce lives in the shadow of his politically connected family. A life of privilege doesn’t equal a life of love, a fact made obvious at every family gathering. Driven yet lonely, Alec yields to his family’s demands for his career path, hoping for the acceptance he craves. Until he meets a gorgeous biker who tips the scales in the favor of truth…and he can no longer live a lie.

Can two men from completely different worlds…and sides of the law…find common ground, or will all their desires only wreak Havoc?

Yes!! I love me some Kindle Alexander. Although they scarred me for life with Always and they're the reason i check the ending of books i always get excited when they release a book. An this one is a beaut!! Something a little different from these guys and i liked it. A lot!!

Keyes is stuck with the life he has. Born into the life of an MC he's never known anything different. Being gay, life has not been easy for him and the only person he can rely on is his best friend in the MC who he grew up with. The only thing that matters to him is his business. One night he is driving out of town to get some much needed action when he encounters a broken down car. He stops to help and comes across a handsome man who obviously has money. He knows this man would never look twice at him. Obviously their lives are on different ends of the spectrum but when their eyes connect there's something there, something both of them feel. Attraction.

Alec's life is mapped out for him. His father has big plans for him. Alec is going with the flow of it all, partly to get his family's acceptance and partly because he's not sure what else he would do. One night after one tedious political party at his parents house he's driving home and he gets a few flat tyres. Stuck in the middle of nowhere he accepts the rough bikers help. The connection is instant and Alec would love to see more of the gorgeous man who comes to his rescue.

Alec has a battle to get Keyes to see him again but he's determined. He's never had this connection to anyone before. He's never considered anyone for more than one or two nights before but the biker has something he want's to explore more.

The dynamic between these two really got me hooked. Both have very different lives but when together it's electric. They are so freaking hot together i broke out in a sweat a few times. But more than that they get each other. They may not know all of each others secrets but it's as though they do. As though they know how to comfort each other even without knowing the problem. I loved them together so much i can't wait for their happy ending, although i fear there's more of a rocky road ahead.

I'm loving the plot of the push and pull both in their personality and their lifestyles. It appears as though they should never work, but they do and i for one am cheering them on all the way.

Their story will draw you into their world and make you care for them both. You'll hate a lot of the side characters, some more than others and some you will be ultra suspicious of. This book will have you wondering what will come next at these two. I can see a lot of hits coming their way in the next book and i can only hope for the family they both deserve in the end.

It says it's not a cliffhanger and i guess it isn't but this is not a stand alone. There is another book to come so be warned!!

Highly recommend, i can't wait to find out what happens next!!

I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it's true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women's hair!

Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindle.

I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.

That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.

Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.

***RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW*** Sex Material by Victoria Ashley

Title: Sex Material
Author: Victoria Ashley
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: November 26, 2018

Blurb

Sex Material…

It’s what I’m known around town for.

A rock-hard body, covered in tattoos with a sizeable bulge that women spend their nights fantasizing about.

Women track me down, needing someone that will fuck them rough without holding back.

They find me because they need a distraction from reality. They need something to get their mind off of the boyfriend who screwed them over or the job promotion they got passed over on at work.

Sometimes it’s just because they need someone reckless in the bedroom before settling down with the right one.

‘Cause I’m sure as hell not that guy.

Nowhere close.

I’m not the suit wearing, flower-buying guy you take home to meet the parents. I’m not the guy who will make you feel all warm and fucking fuzzy inside.

Not anymore.

I was boyfriend material once. Would’ve even made a good husband. That was before everything good in my world got ripped away, leaving me broken beyond repair.

These women come to me because they need an escape to cope with the real world, but none of them know I need it more than them. I need something to make me feel alive. Something to get my heart beating again.

Then Cami shows up in my hometown, broken-hearted and pissed off at the world, needing an escape from her cheating ex.

She’s the only one that doesn’t want to use my body. In fact, she wants nothing to do with it and has no problems telling me so.

She’s interested in one thing only from me—to move into my rental property. But the problem with that is the more we fight, the deeper she buries herself in my soul.

Sex material is what I’m good at, but for the first time, it may not be enough.

Review

Gah!!!! I bloody loved this book! Jensen is just.... can we all say swooooooooooon!!!!

Cami is having to start over after she finds out that her boyfriend of 5 years has cheated on her. She's devastated but knows she needs to stay away from him. The house next to her best friend is up for rent and she decides she's going to rent it and make sure she doesn't go back.

Jensen is an A hole. He knows it and doesn't care. He works constantly the only real time he has off is when he service's his tenants! He knows he has a good body and allows women to use him. He's all for it as long as they know it will be a one time only deal.

Whilst working late in his property a woman comes storming in demanding he rent her the house. That woman is Cami. When Jensen refuses they enter a battle of wills. Cami doesn't fall at his feet like every woman he knows and this draws his attention to her but he knows she finds him attractive in the way she devours him every time she looks his way. But when she won't back down and he won't either a spark is ignited between them that only grows with every encounter.
ohhhhhhhhhh their relationship was explosive!! I absolutely loved both of them!

Cami although a little vulnerable because of circumstances took Jensen in her stride and i loved how she handled him. She knew when to give and when to take and she was incredibly strong when maybe she could have been a bit of a wreck. I loved it when she and her bestie cracked open a bottle of wine and put the world and Jensen to rights. They were so funny it's like they were one of your girlfriends and you wanted to join in. I found myself genuinely caring for Cami.

Jensen, Jensen, Jensen. Victoria Ashley always manages to make you fall for the A hole no matter how bad they may appear you fall in love! You also get extremely hot under the collar, wicked fantasies and many many thigh clenching moments! phew! The "come fall" as I've dubbed it nearly set me on fire! But the part of him i loved the most was his need to protect. I was heart sore for him with regards to his past but even with all that he still made sure in his own way to try and protect Cami even sometimes from herself.

The storyline flowed off the pages, the characters burrow their way deep into your heart, and you will not be able to put it down even for food and sleep.

Everything about this book drew me in. If you love Victoria Ashley this is one of her finest! Highly recommend!

5 a hole stars!!

Excerpt

When I look up Cami is standing barefoot in a little white summer dress with her long blonde hair pulled up into a lose bun.

The sight of her sun-kissed skin and long legs has my dick instantly hardening beneath my jeans, and the moment my gaze moves up to her scowling lips, it manages to harden even more.

“Is this even a real application?” She holds the paper up and points at one of the extra questions I added before printing it. “How many times a week did Douglas make you come? Really?"

“It’s definitely a real application.” I stand, wiping my hands down my jeans. “Did you answer every question?”

She shakes her head and lets out a sarcastic laugh. “Did I… did I answer every question? Of course I didn’t, because there’s at least three that are irrelevant to me living here. You’re insane if you think I’m going to give you that kind of information.”

Shaking my head in disappointment, I move toward Cami, stopping once I’m standing right in front of her. “Then you didn’t listen.” I point out. “I told you to complete the application and bring it back to me within a few hours, and here you are four fucking hours later standing in my kitchen with an incomplete form.”

She swallows nervously, her gaze roaming over my half-naked body as I take another step closer to her, my arms now on either side of her waist, her back against the counter. “Now answer the fucking question, Cami.”

“Who said he made me come weekly?” she questions stiffly. “Maybe I can’t answer that question.”

“What a shame,” I say against her neck, before moving my lips up it, stopping just beneath her ear. “Want to know how many times a week I would make you come?” When she doesn’t say anything, I lick my lips and continue. “Fourteen.”

“You do realize there’s only seven days in a week, right?” Her voice is weak, and I can’t help but hope it’s from my body being so close.

“Exactly,” I whisper in her ear. “But that’s just the number of times I would, not the number that I could.”

“You’re full of it.” She places her hands on my chest, causing me to take a slight step back.

“Am I?” I grip her waist with both hands. “I could prove right now that I’m not.”

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Say what??????!!!!?!?!? Noooooooooooooooooooooo What?!?!?!?!? <---- My reaction at the end! Jeeze ussss!!! Seriously!! I need the last installment NOW!!! Yes i realize that's a lot of exclamation marks but.... come on!!! You'll see why!

I honestly do not want to give much away in this review. I'm not gonna recap the plot because it will spoil it but i will say OH MY DAYS you are in for a real treat with this trilogy and i haven't even read the last installment yet.

Throughout the book i was on an emotional roller-coaster i couldn't get off even if i tried. Up's, Down's and loop the bloody loops were going on the entire story. I felt everything these characters felt. Their love is epic. They complete each other in ways neither can understand but they just are. I love that even though they have in reality only spent a short amount of time together they have this deep trust of one another. Even when Tricks goes through the worst of the worst she believes Grim will come to her aid.

The same goes with Grim. He has this deep trust of her that he's never had of anyone else in his life. He knows he would give up everything for her as she would for him. It has been this way for both of them from the first moment they met.

They're both so totally damaged that they make one whole soul when together. I love them as a couple. My heart breaks into tiny little pieces just thinking about everything that they go through and i'm religiously praying to the book gods that there is some explanation. Some freak event that makes the ending not true! That Grim and Tricks get their version of a happy ending with a huge dose of revenge! Please make it right again!!

I will give a little bit away... we get some old faces thrown in here that you'll be jumping around in joy at!! Oh Yeah mother fuckers!! If you're a TM Frazier fan you'll love it! Brilliant!

I honestly love pretty much everything TM writes but this series is turning into one of my all time favorites. Bring on Permission! I can't bloody wait!

Bethany nods to the box, again pressing her finger to her lips. “We will know more when you’re assigned a judge. Until then, we will just have to wait,” she says loudly. She points with her eyes to the item in my hand, then leaves. The object I’m holding is a rock with a piece of paper attached to it by a rubber band. I pull the paper free and flip it over. It’s a note. Stay by the glass, motherfucker! Whatever you do, don’t turn around. PS-You look nice today. Prison blue suits you. The one-piece scratchy uniform I’m wearing is bright orange. What the fuck is all this about? I peer out from my cell. There’s no one in the room now. Not even the janitor. The security camera high in the corner across from my cell, the one that’s usually pointed directly at me, is now facing down toward the floor. Whatever you do, don’t turn around. Okay, so I won’t turn around completely, but curiosity leads me to risk a glance over my shoulder. It’s just a wall. An empty blank wall. BOOM. BOOOOOM! An empty blank wall...that just exploded. The sound resonates through my eardrums. I duck and cover my head with my hands as pieces of cement rain down into the cell. Dust coats my hair and the back of my neck. After a few beats, I stand, waving away the plumes of the aftermath. Through the debris, I can just barely make out headlights. It’s a truck with a battering bar attached to the hood. “All aboard! This train is leaving the motherfucking station. Literally!” shouts a voice. I can’t see who it is through the windshield which is shrouded in what remains of my cell. I don’t have time to ask any questions of the mystery voice. There’s no time to question anything. The passenger door flies open. Two officers appear behind me. One fumbles with the cell keys while the other shouts at him to move faster. It won’t be fast enough. I leap into the truck and slam the door. The tires spin in place for a few seconds until they finally grip the concrete. My head hits the headliner as we reverse over the broken bricks until we’re clear of them and are able to make forward motion. It isn’t until we’re through the field and on the road when I finally get a good look of my getaway driver. “Preppy?” I ask. “What the fuck are you doing here?” Preppy may not be part of any official organization, but he runs a tight ship over in Logan’s Beach. Belly and I have worked with him and his friend King a few times in the past. I haven’t seen Preppy since before he was thought to be dead only to later be rescued from an underground cave where he was held captive for the better part of a year. “Grim? Fuck, I thought I was rescuing Bear. Get the fuck out,” he teases. “Just kidding. If Bear was locked up I wouldn’t help him escape. That fucker could use some ‘me time’ to contemplate his grumpy nature.” He holds the wheel with one hand and straightens his signature bowtie with the other. His white dress shirt is rolled up to his elbows revealing arms heavily covered with both tattoos and angry jagged scars. He lights a joint and tugs on the wheel, making a sharp turn off the road into a dark heavily wooded area. When we’ve made it in far enough to be fully camouflaged by trees and brush, Preppy kills the engine. He passes me the joint, and I take a much-needed hit, holding the smoke for as long as I can before slowly exhaling. “Thanks, man. How the fuck did you get sucked into this?” Preppy types out a text on his phone, then sets it back in the console. “Bethany. I owed her a favor. She got my boy, Bo, out of some trouble recently.” “Isn’t your kid like ten now?” I ask. “What kind of trouble can a ten-year-old get into that needs Bethany’s kind of help?” “He’s eight,” Preppy corrects. “And my boy catches the kind of trouble most kids his age don’t know is out there to catch. My girls are easier. Twin toddlers. Miley and Taylor. The three of them, along with their mama, are the loves of my fucked-up life. Bo’s a good kid. He’s just…well, his brain arrow doesn’t exactly shoot straight. Its target is usually more…” Preppy shapes his hand like an arrow aimed at the windshield, then changes the aim to me. “Human.” He drops his hand. “And the incident in question wasn’t that bad. It may or may not have had something to do with the unfortunate disappearance of a certain…” He waves the rest of his sentence away like there’s a gnat flying around his head. “Let’s just say he’s grounded. VERY grounded. For life. Or like a week. Minimum a few days. Or a day. Maybe, an hour or two. Poor kid. Maybe, I’ll just take him to the movies.” He sighs. “You’ll see. Wait until you’ve got some sex trophies of your own. You’ll understand.” Kids. I’ve never thought of myself with a kid before. I picture Tricks holding a baby in her arms. Our baby. Much to my surprise, I don’t fucking hate it. Although, the thought isn’t helpful to my current situation and only makes me more impatient and enraged. One thing at a fucking time. Sirens wail through the night. Preppy remains cool and calm like he’s driving a parade float down main street, and not at all like he’s running from the law with a fugitive. Blue and red flashes light up the woods. After a few seconds, the vehicles pass, and both the lights and sirens fade off into the distance. “That’s our bat signal. Let’s get you the fuck outta here so I can get home to the missus and eat her cookies.” Preppy pauses, probably realizing his odd choice of words. “I do actually mean cookies. Dre makes a mean batch of chocolate chip.” I stare silently out at the passing trees. “I’m going to eat her pussy, too. You know, after the other kind of cookies. Just so we’re clear.” “Thanks, man. We’re clear. And if you ever need anything and I’m not dead or serving time, I’m there,” I assure him. I mean it. I owe him a debt. A huge one. “Hhhhmmm,” he considers, taking the joint I pass him. “How do you feel about babysitting?” I smile at his joke until I look over at Preppy only to see he’s not doing the same. In fact, it’s the only time in my life I’d ever seen him with a straight face. “I uh…” He looks straight ahead through the scratched and broken windshield. Bits of concrete from our escape attempt cover the dashboard, and some of it is lodged into the glass. “Never mind. You can do me one favor, though.” “Anything within my power. It’s yours.” “Don’t tell King about this,” he says. It comes out as a sheepish high-pitched question. “Why? He wouldn’t want to know that you broke me out?” King was a friend of Belly’s and a good ally to Bedlam. It wouldn’t make sense that he’d be against helping me. I’d do the same for any of them if the roles were reversed. Preppy shakes his head. “Oh no, he knows I broke you out. I just sent him a text to tell him it’s over. The grand escape is complete.” He steps on the gas. “But he don’t gotta know I used his truck to do it.”

***BLOG TOUR & REVIEW*** Control by K Bromberg

"Sometimes love happens unexpectedly…"

From New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author K Bromberg, comes CONTROL, a new novella in her Everyday Heroes Series, brought to you by 1,001 Dark Nights! Be sure to grab your copy today!

About CONTROL:

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author K. Bromberg comes a new story in her Everyday Heroes series…

Control is something Desi Whitman abhors. Why live life in black and white perfection when you can messily color outside the lines?

But when she comes face to face with SWAT officer Reznor Mayne, he’s about to show her just how good control can feel.

 Review

I was so pleased when i heard Desi would get her story and i can 100% say it didn't disappoint!

We've seen bits and pieces of Desi throughout the Everyday Heroes series. Always the fun, outgoing, and carefree one. That is until an incident rocks her world. No longer fearless Desi finds her world turning in on itself. Fearing her own shadow she knows she needs to get out so she joins a self defense group hoping it gives her, her confidence back.

Reznor is on a burn out. A wrong decision has him thinking about his life and career he's not sure he trusts his own judgement anymore. He would never risk the men under him and is toying with the idea of quitting his job as S.W.A.T leader. His boss doesn't want him to quit so he sends him on an easy assignment. Filling in for a self defense teacher while they're on leave.

When Reznor and Desi meet. sparks fly between them. Not just lust but they bring out all the emotions in each other they've kept bottled up with explosive consequences.

What a pair these two made!!! I bloody loved them from the start. I had a soft spot for Desi anyway but this book sealed it for me. I loved seeing her vulnerable side. I know that sounds a bit mean but i did. She had such a facade going on it was bound to spill out at some point. I always love it when a character breaks because i think you feel more of a connection with them and this is how i feel about Desi. Love her!!

Reznor... Strike a light this man is HOT! He's very much like Desi in that he keeps a front up but i loved how he put his own things aside for her. He was strong and pushy when needed and also when not lol. He was so patient because what he saw he knew was worth his time. I loved that about him. There were several times he could have walked away but he didn't and boy should Desi be grateful every damn day of her characters life he didn't!

These two were combustible. It spilled over the pages like molten lava. K Bromberg always delivers when it comes to chemistry and Desi and Reznor were probably the most electric she's written yet.

The story kept me riveted all throughout and i fell in love with this couple. The story flowed well and as usual the writing was flawless.

So happy this story was written because i think Desi deserved it.

Brilliant book which i highly recommend. You don't have to have read the Everyday Heroes series but you'd be missing out if you didn't

“Remind me not to like him.”
“Like who?” she asks.
Gotta keep her on her toes.
“Logan St. Assh*le,” I say. “Guys who have cats—correction, guys who name their cat Pussy—either aren’t getting any or are using the name as a way to state they’re not gay when everyone already knows they are.”
“Is that so?”
“Yep. Why be ashamed of who you are and hide behind a cat? Just live the best life.”
There’s something I say that has her head tilting to the side again. She takes me in a little longer than expected. “It’s the former,” she finally admits.
I shrug. “Why is he an assh*le?”
“The bigger question is how is he not an assh*le?” For the briefest of moments I see a ghost of a smile on her lips, and it reminds me of how pretty she was the other day before the defense class began when she was chatting me up.
“Doggy Style?” I ask.
“That’s the name.”
“But Pussy is a cat.”
“You’re quite observant…”
“I can imagine you attract all kinds of interesting folks with that name,” I say, dismissing her sarcasm.
For the briefest of moments something flickers through her eyes and before I can put a finger on it, the emotion is gone, but it reminds me of what I saw in them the other day after class.
“Just as I’m sure you do working with SWAT.”
“Always.” I look at the cute cottage-style house. “You lived here long?”
We stare at each other in silence, and it’s almost as if she remembers she isn’t supposed to like me. Her expression and posture suddenly stiffen...probably because she realized she was smiling at me.
And f*ck if I know why it turns me on.
“It’s none of your business.”
So that’s how she wants to play it? Fine.
“Then it’s also none of my business that Pussy ran into the house about two minutes ago.” She narrows her eyes and sneers at me again. “It’s your loss, Desi.”
“What is?”
“That you don’t trust me to show you just how good I am with something wet and groomed.” And with that parting comment, I flash her a lightning-quick grin before heading to my side of the fence, while she grumbles and curses me out under her breath.
I hear her door slam.
I hear her call for Pussy again.
And all I can think about is how damn unexpected she is—and at the same time such a very welcome distraction.
I think I’m going to like my time in Sunnyville.

About K Bromberg: New York Times bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines, and damaged heroes who we love to hate and hate to love. She’s a mixture of most of her female characters: sassy, intelligent, stubborn, reserved, outgoing, driven, emotional, strong, and wears her heart on her sleeve. All of which she displays daily with her husband and three children where they live in Southern California. On a whim, K. Bromberg decided to try her hand at this writing thing. Since then she has written The Driven Series (Driven, Fueled, Crashed, Raced, Aced), the standalone Driven Novels (Slow Burn, Sweet Ache, Hard Beat, and Down Shift), and a novella (UnRaveled).
