When Mia Corelli returns to Alabama for a summer of fun with her childhood best friend, Tessa, there's only one thing keeping her on edge. One person that she’d do anything to avoid.

Benjamin Kelly. World’s biggest dickhead.

Mia hates him with a fury and has no desire to ever see him again. When she decides to start her summer off with a bang and finally give away her v-card, she unknowingly hands it over to the one guy that excelled at making her life miserable, learning a valuable lesson in the process.

Always get the name of the guy you’re going home with.

Ben can’t get the girl he spent one night with out of his head. When she leaves him the next morning, he thinks he’ll never see her again. Until he sees her lounging by the pool with his sister.

Mia is determined to hate Ben, even though she can’t forget him.

Ben is determined to prove he’s not the same guy he used to be.

What happens when the one person you wish never existed becomes the one person you can’t imagine being without?

My Review

Where do I start?? I loved this book and the complexity of the characters. I loved how Miss.Daniels was able to bring all the characters to life and show that not everything is so cut and dry in life. She was able to have me laughing till I cried with all the bantering and inner thoughts of these characters. And some of the one liners I will be chuckling over them for moths if not years to come, but in the same turn she was able to bring their heart aches to the surfaces and have me choking up and crying right along with them.
Mia Correlli is an awesome leading lady and I loved her spunk and personality. When Mia was younger she was a little heavy, wore thick glasses and had some skin issues, this made her the butt of all jokes with her best friends brother who was relentless in teasing and tormenting her. The teasing used to drive Mia to cry herself to sleep and starve herself to try and lose weight. Then when she moved away with her family she came into her own and became a beautiful young women. With her mother very ill she never got the chance to go back and visit her best friend in Alabama or really date in general, so when the opportunity to go visit for two months she decides to go but first she must lose her v-card so she can party it up all summer with her bestie.

She makes the journey to Alabama but stops at a bar to find the right guy for a one night stand and man oh mighty she can’t believe that a tall, tattooed and sexy as sin man wants to take her home. He was everything that she could hope for in a one night stand and he rocks her world.

“I could seriously climb you like an oak tree.” “Oh yeah? I think I’d like to see that.” His playful response makes me laugh and I’m quickly being pulled through the crowd and out the door.”

The next day she parts ways with him and goes to her friend’s house thinking she will never see him again but well life has a funny way of throwing you some curve balls because when her best friends brother, the boy that was the reason for her nightmares shows up and it’s the guy from the bar who rocked her world….

“Benjamin Kelly. World’s biggest dickhead.”

Ben was an asshole as a young man but he has defiantly changed over the years and man oh mighty the things he says and does will make you melt on the spot. He has become a wonderful friend, brother and a father. And add in that he’s a man in uniform you may as well call it done because he could not become any more When his “angle” from his one night stand runs off he can’t believe it but when he finds out it’s his sisters best friend Mia he is stunned stupid. He can’t believe that the girl from his past is the one he can’t forget but he will not let her run from him again. Only problem is she still sees him as the asshat he was as a teenager.

“Fine. Whatever. But just know that this nice act doesn’t wipe out all the shitty things you’ve done to me” “that shit is still very raw. And no amount of bag carrying is going to make me forget.”

But that that doesn’t stop him from trying to win her over. And let me say the journey to winning her over had me swooning all over him. Their journey together is one that I think we can all relate to; it’s one of learning to forgive and open your heart and to remember that your actions and words can have a long term effect on those around us. I loved every moment of this book and look forward to reading the next books in this series. The other characters that I met so far Tessa (Ben’ sister) and Luke (Ben’s partner) have me counting down the days till I get to see their stories. Because with the heat that Ben and Mia bring I think that my kindle may just explode with Tessa’s sassy mouth and Luke’s sexiness.

So cheers to you Miss.Daniels and you have a brand new fan in me. Keep the sweet and spiciness coming because you my dear know how to tap into my brain and hook line and sinker my heart.

“It really should come with some sort of warning label.” “Mmm and what would it say? Multiple orgasms await you if you put this between your legs?”

** This book is recommended for people over 18 years due to strong language and sexual content.**

Grace Rivers is your everyday twenty-five year old. She could have the world at her feet, but instead chooses to help run the family business. After experiencing great loss early in her life, Grace values what's most important: her family and friends. But she aches to find that certain someone—that one great, passionate love who values family as much as she does.

Cole Tierney loves his life. He has a wonderful family, a loyal best friend and a successful career as an ER doctor. The only downside is he wants someone to share it with. After being used and left heartbroken, he wants to find someone who will love him for him and not his or his family's status.

"Every beat my heart makes is for you. Every time it beats faster it's because of you—because you're near me, because of your smile—because you take my breath away."

Their two hearts collide by chance and an undeniable connection is quickly made.

But when others are plotting against their happiness, will their love flatline, or will the rhythm of their hearts continue to beat as one?

My Review

Warning, there is a major cliffhanger at the end of this book.
One that will leave you heartbroken and in tears.

Cole is a sexy and sweet ER doctor who isn’t necessarily looking for love. But after laying eyes on the auburn hair Gracie in an exam room one day he feels an immediate connection with her and vows to do whatever he can to get to know more about her.

Gracie is a hard working woman who would do absolutely anything for her family. She has an amazing dad, brother, niece, and best friend. She never realized she was missing anything until Dr. Cole Tierney walks into her exam room. Never has she ever felt such an intense connection to another person in all her life.

Cole decides to take a change and finally asks Gracie out. Even though they don’t profess their love for one another til much later in the book- it is very much an insta-love book. I loved Gracie and her firey attitude when it came to her family. She is very passionate about those she loves and will not allow anyone to speak unkindly of them. I love how she doesn’t care what others think of her or her choices…as long as she stays true to herself she is happy.

Cole…I had my ups and downs with Cole. He is very sweet (not your typical alpha male). I loved his love for Gracie but I did not understand some of his choices. He chose to stick up for people that definitely did not deserve it, even though he seemed to have a semi-good reason I still found it the wrong choice. He just seemed to keep making the wrong choices when it came to her and it really irritated me. He was never quick enough to stand up for Gracie and didn’t take in her feelings into count when he made certain decisions. If I were Gracie I would have had a constant feeling of being slapped in the face. Cole just seemed too dumb when it came to his relationship with Gracie and her feelings at times.

Overall I enjoyed the story and found myself not wanting to put it down. There was a surprisingly mysterious side to this story that I wasn’t expecting and by the end of the book I was left just as confused as ever about it.

Rhythm of My Heart is fast paced and didn’t linger on unimportant details so it had a good flow to it. I loved all the other characters and I cannot wait for more of them and their stories. The ending was so heartbreaking. I didn’t know that this was going to be a cliffhanger so it took me by surprise. I cannot wait to find out the conclusion of Cole and Gracie’s story in Saving Our Hearts.

With our bodies aligned perfectly together, we dance; swaying along with the music as it changes and the start of “Heartbeat” by Enrique Iglesias penetrates through the room. This song is perfect because not only is my heart racing, but I can feel Cole’s beating wildly against my back. The lyrics speak volumes; Cole is already stealing my heart… I can feel it.
So lost in the song, it takes me a second to realize that my hair has been pulled to the side and Cole’s lips are peppering soft wet kisses along my neck and shoulder.
Goosebumps break out across my skin and desire ripples its way through my system. His touch is all-consuming and by God, I want and need to be consumed. “Grace,” he whispers as he kisses and licks my ear lobe. My body shudders in reaction and moves closer to him allowing contact with the very hard and impressive bulge that presses into my lower back.
Dear God, is it normal to feel like this so soon after meeting someone?
I turn in his arms without breaking contact and look directly into those bright blue eyes, which are heated and sparkling with desire. My gaze moves to his lips as his tongue trails across them and I lose all control. Throwing myself forward, I wrap my arms tightly around his neck and crash my lips to his.
As everything around us fades away, Cole’s arms engulf my body completely so that there isn’t even a millimeter of space between us. His hungry lips assault mine and I can feel the need radiating off him in waves. Our lips part, our tongues meet and embrace, dancing with each other in the confines of our mouths.
His taste is exquisite and his technique exceptional as he takes control of the kiss. I vaguely register his hands roaming my body as my fingers tangle further into his hair, pushing his head closer to mine. I don’t know how long we stand there so completely wrapped up in each other, but when we both pull back, our chests are heaving and our breathing labored.
Cole leans forward and rests his forehead against mine. My eyes close as I relish the sweet gesture. “Most spectacular first kiss ever, Sweet Cheeks.”
My heart swells at the comment and his new name for me. I really like it. “I couldn’t agree with you more,” I simply reply, knowing I will always remember this moment forever.

Try (Temptation, #1)

Try – verb: to make an attempt or effort to do something or in this case…someone.

Sex. Logan Mitchell loves it, and ever since he realized his raw sexual appeal at a young age, he has had no problem using it to his advantage. Men and women alike fall into his bed—after all, Logan is not one to discriminate. He lives by one motto—if something interests you, why not just take a chance and try?

And he wants to try Tate Morrison.

Just coming out of a four-year marriage with an ex-wife from hell, a relationship is the last thing on Tate’s mind. He’s starting fresh and trying to get back on his feet with a new job at an upscale bar in downtown Chicago.

The only problem is, Tate has caught the unwavering and unwelcome attention of Mr. Logan Mitchell – a regular at the bar and a man who always gets what he wants.

Night after night Tate fends off the persistent advances of the undeniably charismatic man, but after an explosive moment in the bar, all bets are off as he finds his body stirring with a different desire than his mind.

As arrogance, stubbornness and sexual tension sizzles between the two, it threatens to change the very course of their lives.

Logan doesn’t do relationships. Tate doesn’t do men. But what would happen if they both just gave in and…tried?

My Review

Holy balls!!!!(No pun intended lol, just a happy coincidence) This book was H-O-T!! Like turn on the A/C and read it in front of that hot. I got to say this was my first souly male/male love story that I have read. Sure I have read the male/male/female stories but I gotta say having twice the sexy man with no women in the middle wowsers!! And let me tell you Logan and Tate do not disappoint in the hotness department, nor the alpha dominate male department. I must say that I’m most certainly a new fan of Ella Franks work, and no its not only for the sexiness of these guys, but also that she was able to write a really good story of two people who are just trying to get by in life with their own demons.

Logan, Logan, Logan what can we do with you?? Logan is what I like to call a trysexual….that man will try anything once because he believes how do you know you don’t like it till you try it. And well try he does with men and women, he just does who and what feels right in the moment. And the description of him in his suits, well man oh mighty it’s no wonder men and women are falling over themselves for him. The only problem he has is that he never sees the feeling he has for Tate coming. But after Logan sees Tate at the bar one night after work, well its game on and man can Logan turn a double innuendo. I have never laughed so much nor been needing a cool down so much than with the things he says. He has no filter from his brain to his mouth but sees nothing wrong with that because hell he always gets what he wants and what he wants is the sexy as hell bartender behind the bar…Tate

“Batter up! I wanna play with some balls.”

Then there is Tate, he is just getting out of a 4 year marriage that should have been ended 3 and half years ago to a women that he can’t stand. He is now working at a local bar and all the girls want him and he was not opposed to taking them because well he is straight as they come, well that is what he always thought until Logan comes in one night and scrambles his brain. No women and especially no man have ever made Tate feel the way Logan does. The banter that goes back and forth between him and Logan is comical at times and well hot 99% of the time but that is screwing with Tate’s head. But Tate can’t deny how alive Logan makes him feel and so he decides to after Logan gives little to do the one thing he is asking of him “Try.”

“He winked at him. “So? Now, I’ve tried.” With that, the sexy fucker walked out the door.”

The chemistry between these two is off the charts but Tate comes from a family that will never understand and still has to divorce his ex-wife, who is also a client of Logan’s law firm. Then there is Logan who was stupid enough to care once but was in the end left. The journey of love and passion that these two make is a must read and I can’t wait for “Take” the second book in this series to see what happens with them and how they navigate their relationship in a world that’s not ready for them.

“Tate asked. “So…what’s your truth, Logan?” Logan stared at him so intently that Tate wondered what was going on inside his head before he replied, “I think you are,” leaving Tate speechless.”

So really I could go on and on about this book but I don’t want to spoil it for you all so all I can say is that if you are looking for a hot, sexy, passionate, love story then this is a must read for you!!

Tate & Low's story.

I'm loud, I'm proud, and I like to bust balls in my spare time.

At least, that's what Low Parker would do. But she is just a mask, one I have perfected over years of running.

I am Willow Knoxx. Master of deception, secrets, and lies.

I am the girl your mother told you to stay away from, and the girl your father fantasized about. I have been running for years, always looking over my shoulder.

Now, the mask I have perfected is about to disappear, and everything I have done to keep myself hidden is about to be revealed.

My Review

Secrets, big secrets, lies, so many lies, two hundred and one little lies to be exact. For the last 6 years Willow Knoxx has been wearing a mask, a mask in the form of Low Parker. But no matter how hard she tries to keep up the fa├žade of Low Parker, the mask is cracking, cracking because of the amazing friendships and most of all because of the love she as found in Tate James, her best friends brother.

This is the story of one girls’ journey to find balance between the life she wants and the life she needs to leave behind. And the journey is incredibly captivating and I honestly couldn’t stop reading this book because I needed to know what the hell was going to happen.

Low Parker is living a new life…well trying to anyway; she’s run away from a life of danger and unthinkable violence. She’s in college and has made some amazing friendships, she is happy, but still feels the need to keep everyone at arms length as the underlying threats are always lingering. Let me tell you that it’s a good thing that Low/Willow lives her life this way because as soon as she lets her guard down a little, her past is there threatening to come back with a vengeance. A past that will force her to go back to a place she wants nothing to do with.

Despite being a great book it is a bit of a heavy read, I will be honest and say that I do feel it lagged a bit and took a while to get to the action.  And I definitely could have gone for more sex scenes between Low and Tate! Yummy Tate!
That being said I think that Low is one of the strongest female characters I’ve read about in a while. This girl is one tough cookie!
I found the writing of Low’s character wonderful. She was able to be funny and offer some great one-liners, all the while maintaining her kick ass attitude. I really felt Low’s struggle to make the right decisions in order to protect those she cared about, she’s so completely loyal to Tate and her friends I just wanted her to let them in so they could support her. But I understood why she didn’t.

Tate! Oh the hotness that is Tate! I just loved listening to his alpha-ness and seeing how patient and sooo sweet he is with Low throughout the book. And of course the amazing selfless act of love he does in order to save his ladylove! *sigh* I wish we would have had more from his POV, but this is totally Low’s amazing battle, and what a battle it was. I was really happy with how the story played out and ended.

I totally paper heart Tate and Low!

And…I loved loved loved getting to catch up with Neva and Logan! So happy for them too!

A lengthy history of breaking things with his fists has given Zeth Mayfair a fairly good idea of how to get his own way. (Book 2)

Zeth Mayfair is pretty much the very last thing I need in my life. And yet with every breath I take he becomes more engrained in every aspect of it:

He has a key to my house.

He knows where I work.

He dumped his strange, mentally traumatized housemate on my doorstep and has driven off into the sunset in search of my missing sister.

I want to forget him. Want to change the locks and blot out his face, scourge his very name from my memory. The problem is that I also need him. I need him more than I need air to breath, and I can’t be without him now.

He owns me.

He torments me.

He’s fractured me.

(Book 3)

I’m not safe.

I haven’t been safe for a while now.

I ran to Zeth for protection, but Zeth is in danger himself. With Julio on one side, and the leader of the Widow Makers MC on the other, the smartest thing to do would be to run. I’ve been running long enough, though.

This is the closest I’ve come to finding my sister in two years.

I can’t back down now.

My right hand man’s being tortured in the basement.

The guy who tried to buy Sloane’s virginity is burning rubber in our direction.
