Try (Temptation, #1)

Synopsis

Try – verb: to make an attempt or effort to do something or in this case…someone.

Sex. Logan Mitchell loves it, and ever since he realized his raw sexual appeal at a young age, he has had no problem using it to his advantage. Men and women alike fall into his bed—after all, Logan is not one to discriminate. He lives by one motto—if something interests you, why not just take a chance and try?

And he wants to try Tate Morrison.

Just coming out of a four-year marriage with an ex-wife from hell, a relationship is the last thing on Tate’s mind. He’s starting fresh and trying to get back on his feet with a new job at an upscale bar in downtown Chicago.

The only problem is, Tate has caught the unwavering and unwelcome attention of Mr. Logan Mitchell – a regular at the bar and a man who always gets what he wants.

Night after night Tate fends off the persistent advances of the undeniably charismatic man, but after an explosive moment in the bar, all bets are off as he finds his body stirring with a different desire than his mind.

As arrogance, stubbornness and sexual tension sizzles between the two, it threatens to change the very course of their lives.

Logan doesn’t do relationships. Tate doesn’t do men. But what would happen if they both just gave in and…tried?

My Review

Holy balls!!!!(No pun intended lol, just a happy coincidence) This book was H-O-T!! Like turn on the A/C and read it in front of that hot. I got to say this was my first souly male/male love story that I have read. Sure I have read the male/male/female stories but I gotta say having twice the sexy man with no women in the middle wowsers!! And let me tell you Logan and Tate do not disappoint in the hotness department, nor the alpha dominate male department. I must say that I’m most certainly a new fan of Ella Franks work, and no its not only for the sexiness of these guys, but also that she was able to write a really good story of two people who are just trying to get by in life with their own demons.

Logan, Logan, Logan what can we do with you?? Logan is what I like to call a trysexual….that man will try anything once because he believes how do you know you don’t like it till you try it. And well try he does with men and women, he just does who and what feels right in the moment. And the description of him in his suits, well man oh mighty it’s no wonder men and women are falling over themselves for him. The only problem he has is that he never sees the feeling he has for Tate coming. But after Logan sees Tate at the bar one night after work, well its game on and man can Logan turn a double innuendo. I have never laughed so much nor been needing a cool down so much than with the things he says. He has no filter from his brain to his mouth but sees nothing wrong with that because hell he always gets what he wants and what he wants is the sexy as hell bartender behind the bar…Tate

“Batter up! I wanna play with some balls.”

Then there is Tate, he is just getting out of a 4 year marriage that should have been ended 3 and half years ago to a women that he can’t stand. He is now working at a local bar and all the girls want him and he was not opposed to taking them because well he is straight as they come, well that is what he always thought until Logan comes in one night and scrambles his brain. No women and especially no man have ever made Tate feel the way Logan does. The banter that goes back and forth between him and Logan is comical at times and well hot 99% of the time but that is screwing with Tate’s head. But Tate can’t deny how alive Logan makes him feel and so he decides to after Logan gives little pushes..lol to do the one thing he is asking of him “Try.”

“He winked at him. “So? Now, I’ve tried.” With that, the sexy fucker walked out the door.”

The chemistry between these two is off the charts but Tate comes from a family that will never understand and still has to divorce his ex-wife, who is also a client of Logan’s law firm. Then there is Logan who was stupid enough to care once but was in the end left. The journey of love and passion that these two make is a must read and I can’t wait for “Take” the second book in this series to see what happens with them and how they navigate their relationship in a world that’s not ready for them.

“Tate asked. “So…what’s your truth, Logan?” Logan stared at him so intently that Tate wondered what was going on inside his head before he replied, “I think you are,” leaving Tate speechless.”

So really I could go on and on about this book but I don’t want to spoil it for you all so all I can say is that if you are looking for a hot, sexy, passionate, love story then this is a must read for you!!

About the Author
Ella Frank

I am first and foremost a proud Australian, but currently reside in Texas with my husband.

I love to read and write contemporary and erotic romances, but I also like to step outside of the box at times when it comes to telling a story that really speaks to me.

I absolutely adore dessert. I could skip the main meal and head straight to the dessert line every time…especially anything that is covered in caramel.

I am a GLEEK (yes I admit it… So? It makes me happy), on the other hand I love Dexter and he makes me happy too, so analyze that!

I love to sing really bad at the top of my lungs, and I often have conversations with myself.

Some of my favorite authors include; JR Ward, Tiffany Reisz, Nalini Singh, Lori Foster, Lauren Dane, SJ Frost and many more.

Last but certainly not least, I am the author of The Exquisite Series, Blind Obsession and most recently Try. - See more at: http://www.ellafrank.com/about.html#sthash.zmIEIcHB.dpuf
