Stay with Me (With Me, #1)

Synopsis

With one look, I’m his . . .

With one touch, he’s mine . . .

With one kiss, it changes everything between us . . .

I’ve been famous since I can remember. Singing, acting, dancing—I’ve done it all. The tabloids cover my every move, but I don’t want that anymore. I want to be normal, whatever that is.

When I leave Hollywood for college in Vermont, I’m on my own for the first time in my life. This is my chance to figure out who I am and what I want in life.

But it’s a lot harder than I expected. I can’t escape my image. Classes are difficult, and I’m struggling. And then there’s Caleb Fox.

Sexy, intriguing Caleb Fox.

Caleb is the one man who doesn’t want to use me. He breaks down my walls. He challenges me. He wants me. And I just don’t know if I can give him the same—or if he’ll stick around when he finds out my shameful secret that the tabloids haven’t managed to uncover.

Dating him is risky enough, but loving him could break me.

My Review

Hailey Bloom has been in the spotlight since she landed the job as the Gerber Baby. Her mother pushed her hard and never let her have a normal life. At 18 she decides to leave Hollywood and all its fakeness behind her to start living her life the way she wants to. She enrolls in college and starts having the college experience. One night when she is out at a party, she decides to step outside to have a breather from the crowd and that is when she see him…Caleb.

"My skin prickles with awareness. I'm nowhere near him, but it feels like he's standing right next to me"

Hailey doesn’t trust her feelings for Caleb and doesn’t want to get burned again by another guy just wanting to make a quick buck off of her by selling her out to the tabloids. But Caleb is different and he doesn’t want her because of who she was but who she is. Hailey decides to trust he heart to him but is also always looking over her shoulder because she not only left the fame behind but a secret that she is sure will turn Caleb and everyone else away from her.

"I'm sure I already know the answer: he would hate me. And I don't want to see hate in Caleb's gaze when it comes to me."

Ok so here it goes…I loved this book!! Let me start with Hailey, she may be lost and trying to find herself but she is taking her future into her hands. I love how she takes charge and doesn’t just expect the world on a silver platter, even though she could have it that way. She is a breathe of fresh air from the cookie cutter mold of rich privileged characters.

"Everyone knows who I am," I say feeling sick. "Nothing's secret--not even from you."

Caleb…oh my oh my!! Where can I find one of him?? He is a strong character, who I fell in love with right from the beginning. Caleb also comes with a group of friends that will have you laughing out loud all the time with their banter. But the main thing that makes Caleb swoon worthy…..the depth of his character. You can just feel the depth of how he cares and his passion for life.

"His head dips lower, his mouth a whisper away from mine. "Like what?"
"You"
"You already have me."

So what else can I really say??  I could go on all day about this book but I don’t want to ruin it for you all, this was a great journey with Hailey and Caleb and I can’t wait for the next book in the series to learn some more about the rest of the gang that we me met along their journey…even the joker Jamie(who by the way will have you killing yourself laughing)

"We have the Ballers versus T&A"

A definite must read!!
