My Review
OMG this book is amazing!! So I’m usually not one for books with a paranormal tone at all but Miss.Webster did a wonderful job at bringing it into this story without over doing it. I will warn you that you will probley need a box of tissues on hand for this one but it is defiantly a beautiful love story that you need to read. This was one of those books that will stick with you for a long time and will have you tearing up or your heartbreaking long after you have stopped reading. The story of overcoming your personal obstacles and discovering who you are and who can be with someone else is absolutely spectacularly written here. The author was able to get you inside the heads and hearts of all her characters and had me loving each of them and whishing nothing but happiness for all of them. So it is going to be a short review for me on the story side only because Kristi was able to weave such a beautiful story so perfectly that I don’t want to give too many spoilers away so you can enjoy the discovery of this book.
So Sidney is the
female lead and her story begins with the heartbreaking torture that her mother
bestows upon her. The pain and isolation that she is dealt by the hands of the
one woman in this world that is supposed to protect her and love her unconditionally
was actually very hard to do. Then when her mothers passes Sidney has to
venture out into a world that she was kept from and learn how to live as a “normal”
person. I love Sidney as a character because she as much as she feels she is
failing to really live, I can’t help but be in awe of how strong she truly is.
She soon finds a job and an apartment where she meet the mysterious and sexy
Liam.
Liam is a mystery to us all but his patients and caring
nature for Sidney won me over almost instantly. Her understand the quirks that
Sidney has and never tries to push her beyond her limits, while still being by
her side and showing her what love is and how to love. Liam is fighting his own
demons though those cause a lot of roadblocks and heart ache for both of them.
Then there is Lane….my oh my he is defiantly my main man in
this book. He comes into Sidney’s life when she needs him most and he just
blows through her defenses like a tornado going through a hay field. He is able to move Sidney past her quirks and
on to a place of true healing. They come together not only to heal Sidney but
to heal the major holes in Lane’s heart.
My hat is off to Kristi Webster who was able to touch upon
some very serious subjects and yet make this a true love story. She was even able
to weave in some major steamy moments that were complimented by the sweet ones.
She defiantly was able to make this a believable read and has won me over
completely!!

About the Author
I’m a thirty-two-year-old self-proclaimed book nerd. Married for nearly eleven years, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our two lovely children. Writing is a newly acquired fun hobby for me. In the past, I’ve enjoyed the role as a reader. However, recently, I learned that I absolutely love taking on the creative role as the writer. Something about determining how the story will play out intrigues me to no end. My husband claims that it’s because I like to control things—in a way, he’s right!
By day, I run around from appointment to appointment, wearing many hats including, mom, wife, part-time graphic designer, blogger, networker, social media stalker, student, business owner, and book boyfriend hunter. (It’s actually a thing—complete with pink camo. I lurk around the internet, “researching” pictures of hot guys who fit the profile of whatever book boyfriend I’m reading or writing about)
I guess you can blame my obsession with books on my lovely grandmother, who is quite possibly my favorite person on the planet. At an early age, she took me to the half-priced bookstore each weekend and allowed me to choose a book. Every single time, she caved when I begged for two. Without her encouragement, I wouldn’t have been able to cope during some hard times without my beloved books.
Currently, I am finishing up my college degree that has taken me forever to complete. It’s just on the list of my many “bucket-list” goals that I subject myself to.
Most days, you can find me firmly planted in front of my computer. It’s my life. If the world ever loses power, I’d be one of the first to die—of boredom! But I guess as long as I have books and a light, I might just survive.
Looking forward, you can expect to see two more novels in the Breaking the Rules Series. I’m nearly finished with the third. Also, I have a standalone novel that will be released soon as well.
This writing experience has been a blast, and I’ve met some really fabulous people along the way. I hope my readers enjoy reading my stories as much as I do writing them. I look forward to connecting with you all!
