***BLOG TOUR, REVIEW & GIVEAWAY*** Atonement By Julie Morgan

Synopsis

When the Darkness meets the Light... and claims it.

He's caused havoc. He's brought Hell to earth. He's taken more souls than he cares to remember. When Samuel comes face to face with a woman he has centuries of history with, she makes him work harder than he's ever worked on claiming a soul.

Anauel has been charged to end Samuel, once and for all. She hates who he's become, she cannot stand his existence and she plans to do whatever it takes to bring him down. What she doesn't count on is his seduction making its way into her heart.

Anauel plans to destroy him for everything he has become. But a big ‘what if’ lingers over her: Can she send him down the path of atonement, or will Samuel lure her over in hopes of claiming her soul?

Fighting lust and temptation, Anauel will need to fight harder than she's ever fought before; for her soul to live. In claiming the soul of an angel, Samuel will find himself also fighting against something he's completely unfamiliar with; the ability to feel something greater than lust and seduction... love.

Review

Atonement is the third instalment in the Chronicles Of The Fallen series by Julie Morgan and although this can be read as a standalone novel, I do recommend that you read the first two before reading Atonement.

This is the story of Samuel and Ana. These two are complete opposites, they are heaven and hell and together they make quite a hot combination. The sexual tension is thick, lust is written all over their faces, can Ana save the fallen angel? Will Samuel claim her soul? This book grabbed me from the beginning and I was throughly enjoying it until I started coming across the editing errors. While one or two here and there would not normally bother me much, I found there were just too many spelling errors as I continued reading. This did let the story down for me. It didn't however change how I felt about this innocent angel and hot as sin demon. Ana is gorgeous, pure and completely innocent. As an angel, she is not accustomed to the feelings and emotions that humans have. As she grows comfortable in the human body she has taken she begins to understand the different emotions that are coming over her. This also means, she is feeling certain sexy feelings for none other than Samuel, the fallen angel, now demon, that she must kill. Will she give up her purity and give into temptation?

Oh Samuel, he drove me nuts. One minute I couldn't stand him and I wanted to knock his block off and the next I wanted to rip his clothes off. It took me awhile to actually like him. I didn't warm to him at first and this could have to do with him screwing all his airhead minions. I didn't like this. At all. I didn't like how they became his minions and I didn't like how he treated them. Samuel is a demon and he is not a nice one. He is a fallen angel, he is darkness. He is everything Ana isn't. He needs her soul. He needs an angel that is pure. He wants her to be his for eternity. Will he remember who he used to be, who he was to Ana? Or will be claim her soul and get his wish to keep her forever?

Atonement is a paranormal love story between an angel and a demon who are damned if they do and damned if they don't.
