Confessions: Priest, book three in the steamy contemporary MMM Confessions Series from Ella Frank, is available NOW!

Confessions-PRIEST-PRINT-FOR-WEB

I am complex.
My love is all-encompassing.
And when it comes to my heart, there is only one rule:
Don’t mess with what’s mine.
Until the age of seven, I was Joel Alexander Donovan, son of Jimmy.
The man who terrorized a town and made its citizens fear
the very ground he walked on. Including me,
the day I realized that ground ran red with blood.
At age eighteen, I became Priest.
A man without a past.
A man determined to right the wrongs of my father.
A man who never believed anyone could love the son of such a monster.
But then a thief stole my heart.
A sweetheart lit up my world.
And I forgot for a moment you should never turn your back on your enemy.
And thus begins a lesson to those who would seek to harm: Never underestimate what the Priest will do to protect the Princess and the Prick.

Review

I think this was the one we were all waiting for and boy was it worth the wait!!

The story picks up where we left off with Julien. This is the third part in the series and cannot be read as a standalone.

This series is a real rollercoaster of a story. I seriously love it all. You feel all the ups and downs the characters have. The joys and sorrows and i think my damn heart may have broken in each story! This one particularly broke me because big, strong and dependable Joel had a rough start and my heart shattered.

I love MMM, it's so hard to find good ones but this is quite simply one of the best. The Pr@ck, The Priest and The Princess is just perfect for them.

The Pr@ck is not really one. He's kind of the glue for the relationship. I love how cocky he is but without being obnoxious. He has every right to be big headed but it's so lovable about him you wouldn't have him any other way.

The Princess. Robbie is soooooo sugary sweet but he's also very intuitive and old headed. I love his free spirit but when he needs to be serious he is. He's kind of the calming influence over them all and i love that about him. Being the last into the relationship means absolutely nothing because it feels like he should have been there from the start he's a part of them.

And finally The Priest. This book shows him to be the man you thought he was. The protector. He's captured me from the start of this series and his book opened him up and i've completely lost my heart to him. You knew whatever was coming was going to be bad and obviously the reason for the darkness within. I'm not going to give the story away but how he deals with what goes on will make you fall for him big time. LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM!!!

When i got to the end i didn't realize that there was going to be another book. I kind of felt a bit cheated and then i saw it... Another book... all for these three incredible men. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was dragged into this series from the start and this book was no different. I loved the plot. I loved the writing. I Flipping loved the sexy times... I mean truly floved them. I loved all the characters. I'm hoping Henri gets a book at some point. I never want this series to end! EVER!

Just pure brilliance.

Excerpt:

CHAPTER ONE

CONFESSION

My name is not Joel Priestley.

My name is Joel Alexander Donovan.

And a long time ago, I was taught that things

aren’t always what they appear to be—and neither are people.

JOEL PRIESTLEY, A.K.A Priest, sat behind the wheel of his Aston Martin with his hands at the ten and two positions and his seatbelt fastened. He’d been sitting like that for the past thirty minutes or so. Ever since he’d pulled the vehicle into its designated parking spot alongside his and Julien’s—his husband’s—black Range Rover.

Sinatra had been keeping him company, as Priest tried to block out the phone call he’d made back in his office to Henri. But no matter how loud he played the charismatic crooner, nothing seemed to lessen the impact of Henri’s words and the way they had made Priest’s stomach coil.

“Nice to know you can at least follow an order if it’s to keep those you love safe… Be careful; keep an eye out…”

And that was what he’d been doing for the past thirty minutes or so. Sitting in his car, with his eyes trained on the rearview and side mirrors, as his paranoia over what used to only exist in the shadows began to slowly creep back out into the light of day.

Priest gritted his teeth and reminded himself that Jimmy wasn’t out of prison just yet and likely wouldn’t be for some time. He wasn’t about to appear out of thin air to exact absolution for what he believed was Priest’s biggest crime—abandonment. But that didn’t mean Jimmy hadn’t reached out to the others to find him. To track down the son who had turned his back on his family if, and when, he walked free.

Priest cursed and slammed the heel of his palm against the steering wheel, then he reached for the seatbelt’s release, and as it retracted across his chest, he reached up and shoved it off his shoulder where it caught. As it snapped into place, Priest pulled the handle of the door and got out of the car. He needed to get upstairs. To get inside a locked lobby, where a security guard walked the halls, and his condo had a deadbolt on the front door. It was one of the main reasons he’d been interested in Logan’s place to begin with. The additional barriers between him and those he loved—and anyone who may want to hurt them.

Julien had already texted to let Priest know he and Robbie arrived home safely. But as of yet, Priest hadn’t heard anything from Robbie, their boyfriend. Not that he’d expected to. The last image Priest had of their princess was an ashen face and betrayal in those usually bright blue eyes, and Christ, Priest wished he could erase that picture from his mind.

The three of them had been making such headway lately. They had moved past the getting-to-know-you, comfortable stage of their relationship, and had been thisclose to slipping into that space where the heart and soul of the one whose body you were worshiping was coveted.

But that had all changed now. The truth about his father having wiped out any trust he may have built with Robbie, judging by the expression on his face before Priest had left the brewhouse.

All the joy, and all the happiness, the closeness the three of them had been reveling in, had been smothered by the dark cloud that descended on them, and Priest had a feeling it was going to take a lot of explaining on his behalf before they could get out from under it—if they ever could.

Priest jabbed the button of the garage elevator, and when the doors slid open, he ran his key fob over the panel and hit the floor button. He leaned against the back wall and shut his eyes, and as the elevator ascended, he wondered how he was going to explain all of this to Robbie.

He’d only ever had to do it once before. Only ever found one other he deemed important enough to share this side of himself with. And he’d been just as apprehensive, just as sick to his stomach, at the thought of revealing all to Julien, as he was heading up to face Robert Bianchi.

Priest walked down the hallway toward their condo like a man heading toward his execution—or the execution of their new relationship—and when he got to the front door, he paused before entering.

Scanning the hallway, he looked to his left, where their neighbor lived on the other side of the corridor, before he took a final glance back in the direction he’d come. Once he was satisfied there was no one about, he unlocked the door and headed inside.

The first thing he noticed upon entry was how quiet it was. Lately, when he’d arrived home from work, the TV was on and there was the sound of someone doing something or other in the living room or kitchen. But not this afternoon.

Right now, the place felt more like a library. The kind of space where you should tiptoe and whisper in case you offended whoever was inside—provided there was someone there to offend in the first place.

But that was just his paranoia creeping in again. Of course someone was inside—two someone's, in fact. Julien had told him so, and when Priest stepped out of the short hallway, he spotted his husband immediately.

Julien was curled up on the couch with a blanket over his legs and his phone in hand, and the second Priest moved into view, Julien’s legs came out from under him and he got to his feet. He dropped the phone on the cushion beside him, and as the blanket fell from his lap, it crumpled to the soft rug without a sound.

Julien rushed around the couch and hurried over to Priest, and when he reached him, Julien took his face between his hands and pressed a hard kiss to his lips.

“Mon Dieu, Joel,” Julien said. “I’ve been a mess worrying over you. I’m so glad you’re home.”

Priest wound his arms around Julien’s waist, anchoring himself to the man who understood him in ways Priest had never imagined possible. “You don’t know how much I needed to hear that.”

Julien trailed his fingers down the scruff on Priest’s cheek and frowned. “Was there really any doubt?”

Priest shut his eyes and let Julien soothe him in the way that only he could. His touch, his words, this man’s mere presence—they were all vital to Priest’s survival. Priest let go of Julien’s waist to cover the hand still cradling his cheek.

There were so many things he needed to say: “I’m sorry”or “You were right.I should’ve told Robert about this the second I found out.”But right then, all Priest could manage was: “There was no doubt. Not about you. Never about you.”

Julien’s eyes softened as Priest’s shifted over his husband’s shoulder to the closed door of their bedroom. “Is he still here?”

“Oui.”

“I…” Priest paused as he searched for the words. “I wasn’t sure that he would be.”

“I wasn’t either,” Julien admitted, and when Priest locked eyes with him again, Julien added, “He’s been in there since we got home. Hasn’t said a word.”

“That was more than an hour ago.”

Julien nodded. “I know. But he made it very clear he wasn’t ready to talk about things yet.”

Not knowing what to say to that, Priest put his keys on the coffee table, and Julien placed a hand on his back.

“Listen, he’s processing right now. What he found out about Jimmy… It’s a lot, mon amour.”

“It’s more than that, Julien. You saw his face when he found out.”

“Oui, I did. I also spoke to him in the car on the way home.”

“He thinks I lied to him. Doesn’t he?” When Julien didn’t reply, Priest ran a hand through his hair. “Fuck,” he said. “Fuck. I should’ve told him about all of this before he moved in.”

“And when should you have done that? At CRUSH? On our first date with him? Or maybe the second, when he had dinner here? I’m surethat would’ve made him feel right at home. There hasn’t been a good opportunity. You know that,” Julien reminded him, and touched his fingers to the sleeve of Priest’s jacket. “He just needs time to—”

“No,” Priest said, shaking his head. “Time gives people a chance to distort things. To make them doubt what they once believed. You and I know that better than anyone. I won’t have him doubting this. Doubting us, Julien. Not because of fucking Jimmy. I’m going to go and talk to Robert, and he’s going to listen, and then the three of us are going to sit down and discuss this.”

Something flashed in Julien’s expression, but instead of saying what was on his mind, he let go of Priest’s arm and said, “Okay.”

Priest narrowed his eyes in question, but Julien remained quiet. So Priest turned on his heel and headed toward their bedroom to track down their boyfriend and try to make things right again.

*** RELEASE BLITZ *** Beauty Found by Tillie Cole

EVEN IN HELL, THERE IS BEAUTY TO BE FOUND.

There is life before the Hangmen. There is life before your soulmate is found. There is life even when all seems lost. Shane ‘Tank’ Rutherford is just seventeen when, escaping his father’s lethal fists, he ends up on the streets. Fighting for survival, he finds himself suddenly saved. Saved by a group that takes him under their wing. A group that everyone knows . . . the Texas Ku Klux Klan. Years later, Tank is disillusioned from the Klan and what they stand for. Recently released from prison, he is lost in a world he no longer knows. He is on his own. Until he picks up a woman hitchhiking on the side of a road. A beauty queen dressed in pink.   Susan-Lee Stewart is done with the crowns. She’s done with the glitz and glamor of pageant life. And she’s done with the bruises . . . the bruises gifted by the one person who should love her unconditionally—her mother. Seconds after taking yet another pageant title, Susan-Lee makes a split decision and flees the stage. Flees the glossy life of a pageant queen, flees her violent mother . . . and jumps straight on the back of a tattooed muscled god’s motorcycle . . . And never looks back. As Susan-Lee holds tightly to Tank’s waist, neither of them know it’s a chance meeting that will change both their lives, and their hearts, forever. There are stories of how you find your other half. There are stories of how someone can save your soul when all hope is lost. Before they were Tank and Beauty, they were Shane and Susan-Lee.Two lost hearts who, together, were finally found.
Contemporary dark romance. Contains scenes of violence, offensive language, mature topics and sexual situations. Beauty Found: A Novella (Hades Hangmen 6.5) is to be read AFTER Crux Untamed. Recommended for ages 18 and over.

You've only gotta mention a hint at a Hangmen book and i'm there!! Give it to me NOW!! This was no different. This series just keeps giving and giving and i never wanna get off this ride!

This is a novella on how Tank and Beauty came into the Hangmen. They've always been there but we never really knew the story of them and i just love that Tillie did this so we didn't miss a single thing.

Shane AKA Tank Finds himself on the streets. He's being turned over when a group of men turn up and rescue him from a beating. That group turns out to be a white power supreme group. They see his vulnerability and recruit him.

Susan-Lee has had enough. Pushed and pushed to live the life her mother wanted she can't be that for her anymore. She's took all the abuse she can and in the middle of being crowned Miss Central Texas Susan runs. Not having a plan she waves down a passing bike to get away as far as she can with nothing but the pagent dress she has on.

Tank having just got out of the supremacist group stops and gives the beauty a lift. They end up on the road together and after a few months eventually they encounter the Hangmen and we find out both their stories and how they end up in The Hangmen.

Ohhhhh my!! These two!!! I love how they came to be. It's pure and simple and easy and i just them together. They fit. Fate brought them to each other and their love carried them through. I love how sassy Beauty is and how she keeps Tank on his toes. She takes what she wants and goes after what she needs. Nothing stops her.

My heart broke for the life Tank had before Beauty. He had an awful life up to that point and Beauty put the light back in his eyes. I love her for that if for nothing else. Tank eventually found his way. I loved how strong he was. He wanted to belong and have a family but when he realized that everything he had been told was wrong about the white supremacist group he was involved in he made the decision to leave. Even if that meant he had to die, he would before carrying on with them a minute longer. Once out i felt his loneliness. He had Beauty but he needed more. He needed a brotherhood and this is why he was perfect for the Hangmen. Strong, loyal and willing to die for his brothers. I LOVE HIM!!

Absolutely brilliant addition to this series. For a novella there was a lot happening which made it action packed and gripping. Read in one sitting, i couldn't put it down. Now i need a re-read cause i have the taste of The Hangmen on my tongue and i want more!!

Hangmen Forever!

SYNOPSIS

USA Today and International and bestselling author J.C. Valentine is back with the latest in her captivating, enigmatic, and rousing world of the Spartan Riders MC…

They’ve been through hell and back and have the scars to prove it.

Kade “Moose” Hunter doesn’t tolerate drama. He’s cocky, unapologetic, and all about the quiet side of life.

That’s why Mouse fits him so well.

Angel “Mouse” Grace isn’t like the other women hanging around the club. She’s sweet and gentle, and when Moose gets her engines revving, her passion burns bright. She’s the yin to his yang, and Moose is almost certain she’s the one, but life is never that easy for a Spartan.

The catch? Their town is falling apart.

A cesspool of crime and addiction, the Spartans face yet another challenge: confront crime lord Manuel Contreras and risk war, or worse, death. When Angel’s kid sister rolls into town and takes a shine to the Spartan’s mortal enemy, Moose is torn between doing what’s best for his family…and what’s best for his love life.

Will he be able to strike a balance, or lose everyone he cares about in the process?

*NOTE* COCKY can be read as a STANDALONE! Although a part of the Spartan Riders series, COCKY features a brand new couple, therefore, can be read as a standalone!

EXCERPT:

“What are you doing over there anyway?” Country asked Moose. “You’ve been all contemplative looking since that little girl walked out of here earlier. You got the feels or somethin’?”

Moose curled his lip and shifted to reach his phone tucked in his butt pocket. “Ain’t no feels involved, unless you’re talkin’ about the physical kind.” He waggled his eyebrows. “Then I got a whole lotta ‘em, if you know what I mean.”

Country glanced around at the rest of the brothers, including them in the conversation. “Moose has been sporting some serious wood lately. I can’t even walk into a room without feeling violated.”

“Gotta be the girl, then,” Taco said, then tipped his head back to drink his beer, his playful gaze still set on Moose.

Moose raised his hand and slowly lifted his middle finger. “Ya’ll just mind your business. What I do or don’t do with my dick is private.”

“Not when it’s waving hello to everyone,” Quick chimed in, then plucked a ball into one of the plastic cups.

“No fuckin’ way!” Country shouted. “I swear, you’re cheating! No one drinks as much as you have tonight and keeps winning.”

Quick shrugged. “Don’t hate the player. Hate the game. Now shut your yap and drink up, brother.”

Grumbling, Country got down to it.

Moose checked the time on his phone. It was well after midnight, and he was remembering how he’d told Mouse he’d be by later. It was probably well past “later” in her book, but he was just getting the night started.

He considered shooting off a quick text, maybe calling her to tell her to get ready for him, but then he figured why bother? If she wanted him like he thought she did, then she should be ready for him any hour of the day or night.

“Any of you bastards feel like driving me somewhere?”

“Business or pleasure?” Taco asked.

“Definitely pleasure.”

Taco vacated his fold-out chair as Moose lumbered to his feet. Slinging on his leather jacket, Taco jerked his head to the side. “I gotta head home anyway. I’ll give ya a lift.”

“Aw, you guys are seriously ditching us? The night is still young!” Country shouted.

Moose ignored the uttered complaints and fell into step behind Taco as they headed for the side door. “You assholes can crash inside if you need to. But ya’ll better make sure to clean this shit up before you leave.”

“Yes, Mommy,” he heard as he stepped out into the night. He didn’t need to look back to know what jerk-off had said it. The southern accent tipped him off just fine.

REVIEW

Well... i'm extremely sad. End of the series! *sob* i wanted a book for every character in here!

I can say with a heavy heart that although it's the end this has been an incredible series.

This book concentrates mostly on Moose and Mouse aka Kade and Angel.

Kade loves the feelings Angel gives him but he's reluctant to settle down. He's not sure he wants anything permanent but he knows for now Angel is what he wants. Things are still up in the air with the club. After the demise of Cruize someone else popped up in her place. Manuel Contreras. He's unknown to the Spartans but they know he's bad news. The Spartans are wondering if they'll ever have peace again.

Angel is happy with her arrangement with Kade. She knows it's casual and she's quite content to leave it like that. After the way her parents were she never wants to get controlled by a man. She had to bring her sister up and grew up pretty quick. But the more time she spends with Kade the more he crumbles her walls.

Can they overcome their commitment issues? And can the Spartans survive a brother sleeping with enemy and a baby sister thrown in the mix?

I loved Kade and Angel. They were so perfect for each other even though they were opposites. I loved how Kade knew when to back off even though his feelings were hurt sometimes in doing so. And Angel had absolutely no chance of saying no to him. She tried but her heart belonged to him.

I loved how this series was written. You get everyone's point of view even the bad guys!! I love that because i'm really nosy and i like to know what everyone is thinking and you get that with this series.

The storyline and plot throughout kept you on the edge of your seat. The happily ever afters left me smiling big and happy.

All the characters i fell in love with and this book wraps up all their stories perfectly. It brought a tear to my eye seeing them all happy.

Highly recommend this series. It's original and sexy and biker loving heaven!!! I'm seriously hoping for a Spartans Kids series. Please JC we NEED their stories!!!

“Simone, this is not one of our adventures from when we were kids. This is not finding Blithe Tanner’s cat. These men are murderers, drug dealers, thieves.” “I know.” Boy oh boy, did I know. I didn’t want to be here anymore than he did. I was frightened. Yet allowing Roscoe to be taken on his own hadn’t been an option. “I can handle myself, and I can provide backup for you, if you need it.” Roscoe gripped my shoulders. “Nothing can happen to you, do you understand?” His words were emphatic, his gaze disoriented, desolate, frantic. “If anything happens to you, I’ll . . .” He swallowed, apparently unable to finish the sentence. My heart twisted to see him like this. I wished there were some way to show him what I could do, what I was capable of, so he would stop seeing me as a liability. Well, why can’t you? “Huh.” Now there was a thought. Stepping out of his grip, I walked backward to the other side of the room and took a deep breath. “Okay. Come at me.” He blinked. “What?” “I want you to come at me.” “Simone,” he seethed. “Come at me, bro.” I did that little movement with my fingers, my palm turned upwards. “Come at me or I’ll start singing again.” “I’m not doing this.” “Fine.”Frustrating. “I’ll come at you.” He stood there, features set, looking raw. Moving quickly forward, staying light on my feet, I faked right and then went left, hooking him behind the back of his leg, catching his arm to twist behind his back, and sending him to the ground—face-first—with a thud. I winced as he grunted, my knee at the base of his spine, his arm restrained behind his back. “Sorry! But you wouldn’t listen to me.” Leaning forward, I whispered in his ear, “Are you okay? Did I hurt you?” Roscoe’s back and shoulders rose and fell with an expansive breath, like he was about to respond, but in the next moment he’d spun his legs to the right, leveraged my knee on his back to throw me off-balance, and slipped his wrist from my hold. In my defense, my grip had been lax as I was purposefully trying not to injure him. The next thing I knew, Roscoe had me pinned to the ground, air knocked out of me, him hovering above, and my gun digging into my ribs beneath my shirt. He’d been careful to subdue my legs, likely so he wouldn’t end up with a bruised ballsack. His stare more probing than angry—which I took as a good sign—he said, “I didn’t teach you that. Where’d you learn that?” Even though I was still coughing, I smiled and rasped, “Since college, take judo.” He nodded faintly, his eyes moving between mine, looking concerned. “Are you okay? Did I hurt you?” “No.” Endeavoring to catch my breath, I said, “I took it easy on you because I didn’t want to hurt you either, but I’m an asset, not a liability.” “You’re definitely an asset.” Roscoe frowned, his gaze dropping to my mouth. “And a distraction,” he said, his voice rough. “I’m a distraction?” I asked, my words still breathy. I bucked, but he held me fast. “Yes. . .” His stare turned inward. “You are most definitely a distraction.” Even though I’d had plenty of time to recover and we’d been holding still for close to a minute, I was still breathing hard. This might have been because of my lingering irritation. Or, maybe it was because the length of Roscoe’s lean body was lying on mine. He held my hands on either side of my head, our faces even, his mouth just inches away. Was it insane that I hoped he kissed me? Yes? No? Let’s go with no. He gave me his eyes again and I saw something there, a battle. He looked undecided, at war with himself, straining against something I couldn’t see. “Roscoe?” I whispered. Roscoe closed his eyes, and I thought he was going to let me go, but in the next second his lips descended, capturing my mouth in a tender kiss. I moaned. I kissed him back. That’s what one does when Roscoe Winston kisses one. Moan and kiss. Repeat. Because not doing so would be a travesty. His hold on my hands slacked, his fingers seeking and threading with mine. He settled his hips between my legs, his form relaxing. The weight of him was different now, warmer somehow. At least I felt warm. I also felt cherished as his tongue sought mine, again tenderly, stroking, causing my abdomen to twist and tighten into delicious knots. He broke the kiss and a protest died on my lips as his mouth trailed down my jaw to the sensitive skin of my neck, sucking, licking, savoring me. What had felt warm and cherishing heated, and my hips tilted reflexively as he nibbled on my ear, cradling his rapidly growing erection. We both gasped as his hips rocked in an answering yet inelegant movement. It felt perfect and essential in the moment. “Oh God.” His hot breath spilled against my jaw, a ragged sigh. “What are we doing?” “I don’t know, but don’t stop.” 4 “Years” Stars

Typical Ms. Reid which means anything but a typical storyline. I was kept guessing the whole time. I was swept up in their slow building relationship along with the rest of the family.
