Whyyyyyyy!!! Whyyyyyyyyy!!! Why didn't i fucking drag it out a bit? Why didn't i just pace myself instead of fucking gobbling it up in one sitting?? Ughhhhhhhhh I'm an idiot!!! In fact i think i might re-read it immediately!
But.... YAY!!!! I FLOVE JUSTICE CREED!!! GAH!!!
This is book 1 of a trilogy and already i'm gutted there won't be more!
Justice Creed is ruled by his past. Meeting his brothers in the care system is what changed his life. One fateful night he, Braxten and Knox made a pact to never let anyone hurt them again. Surviving the tough streets they find themselves in Winchester, Mississippi hiding out on farmland. There they meet the father they should have had from birth Thatcher Creed. He takes them in as his own and teaches them how to be honorable men in a town run by the corrupt elite.
Seen as outcasts and womanizers the boys live up to their reputations. But one woman has had Justice's attention since they arrived in town. Over the years he has built a friendship with Ryanne which made her fall for him. On her 18th Birthday Justice goes in for what he knows is his.
After a perfect night Ryanne's heart is shattered the day after. Justice will never give up his brothers for her and she knows this. Her hateful mother takes every chance to hurt Ryanne and her father sits back and watches. Her life is nothing but loneliness. She avoids Justice for weeks until finally she decides to go and speak with him. A series of events have her fleeing the town and never looking back. Her heart never recovers until 6 years later when her past finally catches up with her.
It was everything i wanted and more. I love how KC Lynn drags you into her fictional world and makes you care about every damn thing that's going on in it. From the main characters to the bad guys to the small side characters you want to know everything!!!
My favorite part of this book is the family bond the Creed's share. I could feel it deep in my soul. It wrapped around me like a warm blanket i never wanted to take off. Thatcher helped these boys become the best they can be and Justice, Braxten and Knox have definitely made him proud. They may not be perfect but they're his boys and he loves them fierce! The bond the boys share may be a little messed up but it worked for them.
My heart broke for Justice's past. I was teary several times and it hurt to feel his anger and pain. But despite it all he's one of the most honorable characters i have ever read. He will do the right thing no matter what or who he has to fight to achieve it. I loved that about him and also makes him a hot as hell alpha you want to throw your undies at! Bloody hell i think my glasses steamed up a few times!!
I loved how despite being brought up without any kind of love Ryanne was just full to the brim of it. I think that's why Justice fell just as hard for her and she did him. He felt her love and he wanted it for himself. She never had a family to love her and it was brilliant how the Creeds just took her in and loved her as hard as Justice.
The bit's of Braxten and Knox dropped into the story like little tiny bombs have me chewing my nails off for their stories. Broken, sexy, and honorable badboys i can't fucking wait!!!
The scene with Justice, Ryanne, Braxton and Knox... ummmmmm.... i mean..... faaaark me.... *pants*.... sigh* i can tell you a few pit stops were needed. Clean up in eisle 4!!! :O
So i will say there is a spoiler that runs throughout the story and i think that spoiler is just the best. I'm not going to tell you what it is because i loved not knowing about it. But, rest assured you will love that spoiler, You will fall hook, line and sinker for that spoiler. That spoiler will become your fave spoiler ever. You will smile and laugh at that spoiler and that spoiler pretty much lifts the whole book. I know this shit is cryptic but honestly trust me when i say that spoiler is great and your reading of this book will be amazing not knowing it going in.
The writing as always with KC Lynn is impeccable. The story-line is weaved together perfectly. You will want to see the bad guys burned at the stake. You will cry for the good guys and cheer your little heart out at the end! What i always love about this author is all the feels she gives you from extreme hatred to heart brimming with love. Amazing!! She's never afraid to write hard hitting, difficult subjects and that's an incredible quality to have. Fearless!
I'm not at all surprised at how much i loved this book. Its gone into my books i'll re-read again and again kindle file. Bring on Braxten ASAP!!!
