***REVIEW BLITZ*** Cuffed by K Bromberg

From the New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg, comes a new series about three brothers, the job that calls them, and the women who challenge them. “I hate you. I never want to see you again.” Grant Malone is not the reason I moved back to Sunnyville—at least that’s what I tell myself. Yet, those parting words I said to him back in third grade, ring in my ears every time a townsperson brings up one of the Malone boys. I thought time had healed my wounds. I was wrong. Nothing could have prepared me for how I felt when I finally saw him again. Twenty years does a lot to turn a boy into a man. One who hits all my buttons—sexy, funny, attractive, and a police officer. But Grant is off limits because he knows too much about my past. But I’m drawn to him. That damn uniform of his doesn’t hurt either. It’ll be my downfall. I know it. What’s one night of sex going to hurt . . . right? *** I’ve always loved Emmy Reeves. That’s why I’m shocked to see her all these years later. The shy girl I once knew is all grown up. Adventurous and full of life, she owns my heart now, just as much as she did back then. Convincing her of that is a whole different story. I’ll give her the one night she asks for—like that’s a hardship—but when it comes to letting her walk away after, she has another thing coming. There’s no way in hell I’m letting her go this time without a fight.

 REVIEW

Wowzers! I think this series may be a rival to the Driven series! Hot Cop! Officer Sexy! WINNER!

This series is gonna rip me to pieces, Burn me up and make me fall hard for three hero brothers!

First up is eldest brother Grant.  He followed in his father's footsteps and became a Cop.  While on duty he comes face to face with a girl from his past.  THE, girl from his past.  The one he could never forget.  Emmy.  He always wondered what happened to her.  One day she left and was never seen again.  Her parting words are ones which broke him.  Did she still feel the same? How had she been?  Did she have a good life?  He need's to know and is determined to find out.

Emmy has finally returned home.  After years of living the gypsy life she's decided to set down some roots.  Hoping to buy the skydiving school she's working at she's trying to get a loan to fulfill her dreams.  While out with her best friend she comes face to face with her past.  A past she has blocked out.  A past she want's to forget.  She's not prepared to go there again.  She's all about living in the present.  Her past has no place in her life.  Seeing Grant again cracks her perfectly molded facade.  She's determined to keep him at arms length.

Grant refuses to let her push him away.  He pushes right back.  In doing so he opens them both up to their feelings.  Emmy starts breaking.  Grant opens wounds he didn't know he had.  Can they survive the world of color they open up in each other?

So this is one of those books.  You know the ones? One that refuses to let you go once you start reading.  It grabs your attention.  It captures your thoughts.  You think about it when you're not even reading it.  You actually worry about the characters and wonder if they're OK while you're away, and then after the last word you think about it for days and weeks later.  Yep this is one of those! ALL THE FREAKING FEELS!

As I've come to expect from K Bromberg the storyline was hard hitting and sometimes difficult to read.  I had to read it, i had to find out what happened but at the same time i wanted to run from it.  I wanted it to not happen even though i knew it had.  It's like when you watch from between your fingers, you want to look away but like hell if you can.  That to me is is the gold medal winner of writing.  To make me feel like i did is nothing short of genius! I actually felt the need to go check those darn rocks! When you read you'll know the relevance of this.

I felt all of Grant's heart.  His need to protect.  His need to save.  His need to fix things.  It broke my heart for him to be honest.  It was like the weight of the world was solely on his shoulders and i felt all of that and more because then you have to throw in Emmy.  She was so strong, so fierce and confident but the underlying feelings ripped me apart.  She put up this massive fight not only with Grant but with her own mind and it felt like it would destroy her if she let go.  On one hand i didn't want her to open up.  I wanted her in this protective bubble she had made herself.  Then on the other hand i wanted her to crack wide open so she could start to heal.  So that Grant could worm his way into her heart and save her.

Thankfully Grant not only helped to heal her but he held her up before he caught her.  There is some serious chemistry between them.  Her fire and his stubbornness made for some electric sexy times.  They were meant to be together from the day they met and i loved their history as friends, it makes them special.

The side characters were a perfect addition to the story.  Little Keely... well i won't give spoilers but you'll see.  She'll steal your heart and have all your tears.

Grayson and Grady who will be the other two books in the series are ahhhh maaazing!!! I love the brothers bond and how they mess with each other, their stories, i have no doubt, will grab me by the heart in much the same way as this one did.

This is an absolutely heartbreaking, gut wrenching, tear spilling, swoon making, knee weakening, fall in love read.  I loved every single word, line and chapter and there is nothing that i would change about it.  This is 100% in my top 10 reads of 2017!

I highly recommend this book.  I mean seriously... read it... grab the tissues, turn off the t.v and your phone, find a comfy seat and be prepared for one of the best books you'll ever have the privilege of reading.

5 Heart breaking Heart stealing stars!
