All Jo's books are steamy but this Candy series is turning out to be scorching! Also funny!!
This is Candy's best friend Brylee. She's determined to find her Prince Charming. She has her sights set on Ryan. She works with him and has tried everything she can to get his attention. She's flat out asked him on a date. She's baked... tried to bake for him. She's even tried ignoring him. Nothing is working Ryan is cold and indifferent to her but still she will not give up.
Ryan spends most of his time alone. After his mothers death when he was young he keeps all at arms length. The past few years even more so. No attachments no one gets hurt. He's determined to keep Brylee at arms length. Even though she keep's making him think about her Even though she's the only one to make him smile. He refuses to allow her in.
Then we have Riddick. He's Jet's cousin. His life is one big struggle. He's trying to help his younger brother who is going off the rails. He's trying to keep a roof over their heads. He's working two jobs. He doesn't have time for a girlfriend. The moment he meets Brylee through Jet he can't forget about the crazy red head. She's under his skin and he wants her. Unfortunately she want's Ryan. Riddick still enjoys flirting with her even though she tell's him it's Ryan she wants. Determined to find out what this Ryan has over him he heads to the gym to take a look. There he meets Ryan....
This book has a quirky funny feel to it, it's also kinda sweet, with a little bit of angst and it's hella hot!!
As we expect from this author the story is well written and plotted out. There are twists and turns at every chapter and of course the torturing of boys. That's not new! But the thing with this series is they're not as serious as her Inked Brotherhood series. They're more light hearted and even more steamy.
I'm a huge M/M lover so this these books are amazing for me. There's m/m m/f and mmf WONDERFUL! Wooo hooooooooo! Some of the scenes are so hot you'll need to hit the button on that fan to cool off!
All the characters draw you in and have things that everyone will relate to. Brylee is extremely "kookie" and kind of naive. She's a virgin and has no experience but she knows exactly what she wants and goes right after it. She's kind of fearless and wants to try. Nothing will stop her and i loved this about her. She also has an instinct for when people are hurting and tried to help in any way she can. With Ryan you can feel his pain but you're not sure why he is like he is but you know there's something very grave wrong. I really fell for him he tries really hard to shut himself off but he can't quite mange it. Then we have Riddick. I think he has the most the love from me. He's so straight forward. He's like you and i, just trying to get through life as best he can. He's so caring and honest and also blunt! I loved how he just spewed out of his mouth whatever came to mind.
It was also wonderful to have a little glimpse into Candy, Jet and Joel's life now they have their HEA!
I will mention one more character... One that will have you chuckling and smiling. One who wears a very inappropriate jewel... Fluff the cat!!! Loved that damn cat!!!
You'll laugh, you'll sigh, you'll swoon, you'll take cold showers and you'll fall in love!!
5 x 3 stars! sorry.... 5 x 4 stars! I can't forget to give fluff stars! This can be read as a standalone but if you don't read Candy Boys and Candy Ever After you're missing out on serious hotness!

With a wink at Simone, I get up from my rowing machine and grab my towel, then make my way toward him.
This is a huge gym, new, the machines gleaming, the people dressed in trendy exercise clothes, their MP3 players flashing as they move. Strong, lithe bodies, with barely any hint of sweat.
Self-consciously I adjust my top. It’s like everyone passed an exam to enter. It makes me wonder how Simone and I made the cut.
Not that I don’t take care of my body. I sure do, and I even drag my best friend Candy along when she’s not too busy having wild sex with her two boyfriends.
Two. Boyfriends. Did you catch that?
Total overkill if you ask me. And still no idea how she did it. I’ve been trying to get one guy—Ryan—for the past year, one—and still no dice.
It doesn’t matter. It will be worth it in the end. Not everyone gets their soulmate on the first try.
Or the hundredth, for that matter. Hundred-and-twenty-fifth to be precise. Hey, it’s a good number. These things take work.

Red alert. His T-shirt molds to an impressively sculpted chest and set of shoulders, his corded arms in full display, a picture straight out of Men’s Health magazine.
Holy guacamole.

But of course I shouldn’t be shocked. I chose him. He’s everything a man should be. He just has to see I am the girl for him.
That’s why he’s single. He’s been waiting for me all along.
