My Review

This is an erotic, poignant and beautiful love story.  It is also a story of patience for the truest of loves and knowing what you want out of life.  Once again Raine Miller takes us on an absorbing journey of love lost and found.  As far as I am concerned, this is the master author's ultimate love story.

Neil has waited for Elaina for so long.  When they first met, he was seventeen and she was ten.  First he had to wait for her to grow-up.  Then, he waited for her to be free of the casual boyfriends she kept entangling herself with.  He waited for so long for his Cherry Girl... and then, when he thought their future was secure, their lives were irrevocably altered.  He is not your typical alpha male.  He is strong and forceful, but at the same time, he is tender, considerate and respectful.

Elaina always knew he was the man for her.  She never thought he would actually come to love her.  When two lovers feel this deeply for each other, how is it possible for them not to be together?  Fate or life, whatever you believe in, has a way to place obstacles along the way.  How mature you are and how you choose to deal with these situations will alter the path of love.

I was spellbound by this story.   As I read it, it had the resonance of a love with all the emotional ups and downs of real life.  The characters are so real and endearing, you will remember them with the fondness of old friends.   I can hardly wait for the next installment in the Blackstone Affair series - Rare and Precious Things - due to be released February 28, 2014.
