Whew!!! I must say this is my favorite out of the series so far!!
Harper Sloan has a way with words!! I rode the emotional roller coaster ride through the whole book and loved it!! I was hooked from beginning to end!
This is John Beckett AKA "Beck"and Dee's story. It goes back to the first night they meet.
We finally get to see what's going on and understand their relationship. It's not what I thought at ALL!
Dee is an independent, hard working woman who keeps a smile on her face around her friends to mask the pain and hurt she carries with her. However, Beck sees through her just by being around her in just a short few minutes and sees the pain behind her eyes.
Beck wants to help her fight her demons and stand by her side. Dee is overwhelmed with her emotions she feels for Beck and she does the only thing she knows how to do.
She runs!
I'll be honest I wanted to strangle Dee for being like she was! I just didn't get the way she acted! It was just getting annoying!:) Then her story unfolded and I was left shell shocked and I completely felt for her!
No woman should ever go through what she did!
Not only was her past horrific but the present wasn't any better!
She definitely was fighting demons in her closet!
And Beck(swoon!!!)...for a sexy beast, alpha male this man had ALOT of patience!
He secretly stood by Dee's side for two years suffering with Dee's demons!
He loved with everything he had to prove to Dee he wasn't going anywhere!
You couldn't help but fall in love with him! He did everything right!
Also When I mean beast, that's exactly what he is in the sack with Dee!
Whew!! Breaking things and all!!!:)
Just when I think ever thing is great and my heart is happy and full, it falls to my stomach and I'm just like WTF just happened! No way! I don't believe it! My heart was so happy just a second ago and now it's broken! I didn't see it coming at ALL!
Remember I mentioned the roller coaster ride! Well that is not a understatement!
Harper Sloan made me laugh, cry, swoon, jaw drop, broke my heart then patched it up only to gut me the next minute, shocked me and then I swooned some more!!
She definitely delivered!
Her story line for this book was genius!
This series keeps getting better and better!! I can't wait for the next one!!
I must say before reading Beck you must read Axel and Cage to experience the full story!:)

Harper lives in small town Georgia just a short drive from her hometown of Peachtree City. She (and her 3 daughters) enjoy ruling the house they dubbed 'Estrogen Ocean', much to her husbands chagrin. Harper has a borderline unhealthy obsession with books; you can almost ALWAYS find her with her eReader attached. She enjoys bad reality TV and cheesy romantic flicks. Her favorite kind of hero--the super alpha kind!
Harper started using writing as a way to unwind when the house went to sleep at night; and with a house full of crazy it was the perfect way to just relax. It didn't take long before a head full of very demanding alphas would stop at nothing to have their story told.
