They warned me not to get too close.
Too bad I didn’t listen.
Enter a star’s orbit, it’ll burn you down to ashes before you know
what’s happened. And he was the most beautiful star in the night
sky.
Singed beyond repair, I left Los Angeles behind.
Left him behind.
But I was kidding myself if I thought a few thousand miles of space
would erase my memory.
And I was plain stupid if I thought he’d let me go without a
fight.
They say the brightest stars burn out the fastest…
But the strongest loves don’t ever fade.
UNFADED is the
final installment of an angst-laced, passion-fueled duet about a jaded
rock star and a starry-eyed songwriter. Due to sex, drugs, and rock & roll,
it is recommended for readers ages 16 and up.
5 “Wildewood” Stars
Every. Single. Emotion.
Felicity and Ryder’s second chance comes as they are forced back into each other’s orbit. And while the hurt and mistrust doesn’t fade quickly, their love outshines even the darkest corners and the worst secrets. From the very first angsty word to the final emotional scene, Wildewood’s reunion was everything I’d hoped for and more.
Picking up two years after the end of Faded, Feclity and Ryder are farther apart than ever — both physically and emotionally. Surprised with an unfulfilled contract, Fecility must complete her obligation to the band by going on the tour she left behind. Dealing with the prospect of coming face to face with Ryder, she does her best to create distance. But one look and it all comes flooding back: the love, the hurt, the desire, and the heartbreak. Ryder isn’t keen on letting Felicity go again and he’s going to prove he’s changed and that they are meant to finish what they started all those years ago.
This landed on my Kindle and I jumped in immediately. I was as caught up in the tide that was Wildewood as Felicty and Ryder were. Unfaded was impossible to put down and the tension was as palpable. My heart felt for these characters. My heart cried for these characters. And my heart rejoiced for these characters. Ms. Johnson created a wonderfully complex romance that I won’t soon forget.
