4.5 “Hottness” Stars
Simply delightful! It’s been a minute since I’ve read this author and this was the perfect book to dive back in with. Full of all the humor I’ve come to expect from Ms. Hunting, I also got a story full of wit and sass, a to die for hero and a meet-cute to beat all meet-cutes. I Flipping Love You reminded me why I love this author and I am going back to read the others in this standalone series ASAP.
Rian is on her way up in the world. Well she’s crawling her way up at least. After her family lost everything they had growing up, she’s now trying to get her finances in order so that she and her sister can finally flip their own beach front property. Meeting Pierce was not at all on her radar. At least until he’s all over it and competing for a slice of his own beach front property. Their connection might be undeniable, but Rian as goals and baggage while Peirce is trying to make his own luck and isn’t on the market for more than a fling or a flip. Yet they find themselves getting dirty not only fixing up their fixer uppers but with some bedroom gymnastics too.
I loved pretty much everything about this story. It was fairly light hearted with just a touch of angst. The characters were mature and fun. I fell head over heels right away and love going on the journey of falling in love right along with them. Plus I laughed out loud all the way through the book while my Kindle heated up in my hands. A definate winner for me and one of my new favorites by this author.
