I'd certainly risk the Gators and the rotten egg smell for Finn!!! ooooh lord! Broody Alpha alert!!

Sawyer barrels into Outskirts after circumstances find her owning a piece of land there. She's determined to make a new life for herself better than the one she left behind. The truck and trailer she has have seen better days and she breaks down before arriving at her land. Standing in the road waiting for someone to pass by there's nearly accident and the first person she meets and the cause of the near miss is Finn.

Finn has cut himself off from everyone and everything. After a tragedy he hides away in a cabin in the swamp. He doesn't want anyone around him and finds himself not actually dead but not actually living either. He's just existing. That is until he nearly runs into Sawyer. Annoyed at having her near he's determined to run her off the land... but something in her has him drawn to her. He fights it but it's undeniable.

Sawyer is determined to build herself a life and experience everything she has been sheltered from. No more will a man tell her what she can or can't do. She's not going to make it easy on Finn. She's staying.

Goodness! I'm gushing big time on this book!

I wasn't sure what to expect of this. I've read all of the King series and i absolutely love them! I'm talking top ten series of all time love. So before i read this i gotta admit i was a little scared in case i didn't like it. I was an idiot... I Floved it just as much! It is very different from King, softer i guess but no less intense. I was hooked from the get go! The story draws you in like the mud of the swamp. There's loads of mystery along the way that has my mind going ten to the dozen as to where it's going to go. There is a dreaded cliffy but i understand book 2 isn't far off so I'm OK with it... i guess... oh who am i kidding i am not!! I need to know!!! There is a huge what the hey at the end that left me speechless!

Running through the whole book is a pretty epic love story that has my heart filling up. Sawyer and Finn are perfect for each other. Both nursing very different wounds from the past they somehow feel like they fit. Like fate made them especially for each other and i absolutely loved it! Sawyer although very innocent is so brave. She faces anything that comes at her with her head held high. Whether it was a new challenge or an embarrassing situation she takes it all in her stride and with total honesty. The way she brings Finn out of himself had me awwwwwing out loud and brought a massive smile to my face. The journey Finn makes is equal to Sawyers and his fight and heart made me fall in love with him.

The side characters are an amazing addition to the story. Josh and Miller really should have their own duet! Then there's everyone in the bar, and in the town, it really did make me want to live there! A little cray cray and whole heap of small community absolutely sets the scene perfectly.

Amazingly written, fabulous plot, lovable characters, epic love story, what more could you want!

Brilliant! Sat here waiting for this release to blow over so i can get my grabby hands on part 2!! Hurry up October!
