Synopsis
TAKE – verb: to reach for and hold in one’s hands or get into one’s possession, power or control.
Logan Mitchell is a man who’s always been more than happy to take what he wants. It’s a philosophy that’s proven lucrative in both his business and personal life, and never was it more apparent than the night he laid eyes on Tate Morrison. After pulling out all the stops and convincing the sexy bartender to give him a try—he’s hooked.
Now, Logan finds himself in a predicament that demands more from him than a smart-ass answer and his innate ability to walk away when things get too deep.
He has a choice to make, and it’ll force him to do something he’s never done before—take a chance.
Tate Morrison knows all about taking a chance. He took the biggest one of his life the night he showed up at Logan’s apartment to explore his unexpected reaction to the man.
Ever since then, he’s thought about little else.
At first he was convinced his attraction was based solely on his body’s curiosity. But the more time he spends with the silver-tongued lawyer, the more Tate realizes that their physical chemistry is only the beginning.
He’s starting to catch a glimpse of what life with Logan would be like, and it’s one full of excitement and satisfaction—a far cry from what he had in the past with his soon to be ex-wife.
Each man will face their fears as they begin to understand the true meaning of give and take. Their feelings for one another will be tested, as will their very beliefs. But now that they’ve found love where they least expected it, will they be brave enough to reach out and take it?

My Review
Miss.Ella Frank has done it again!!! Just when I thought I couldn't love Tate and Logan any more than I do she brings out Take. This is an amazing
book and it touched me in so many ways. We get to have a look into what happens
when they finally come together as a couple and let the rest of the world in to
their lives. Miss. Frank did a beautiful job of navigating this hard time and
the issues that are all too real.
“To Logan, because around you, all I want to do is fall without
thought. –Tate”
We get to learn of Logan’s past and why he has been jumping
from bed to bed without a second thought and not willing to really connect with
anybody. His story is heartbreaking. It’s one of thinking that you have love
but then that person turns their back on you because they are too afraid to be
who they really are. And well if you have read the first book of this series
you will know that Logan is out front with who he is and never tries to hide
it, which I might add makes him sexy as all hell. The way Logan loves Tate is
breath taking and I hope that everybody gets to feel a little of that at some
point in life.
“I want to know where you are when you aren’t with me, and I’ll wish
I’m there.”
Tate is trying to navigate a new life that he never thought
would be his. He comes from a very catholic family and was married to a woman
before he met Logan. He has to learn how to be in this new world and make his
way through the shock that it brings to the people who are in his life. The
only thing he knows for sure is that no woman or man has ever made him feel the
way that Logan does. But when his sister and ex-wife catch him and Logan in a compromising
position, he knows that he needs to start being honest and straight forward
with his friends and family if he wants what makes him happy.
“It’s crazy and intense, but Logan, it’s real. Every time I’m near you,
I feel alive.”
The reaction that his mom and dad have breaks my heart over
and over again. The people in this world that are supposed to love him without
judgment are his biggest critics. It was hard to read as a parent and for the fact
that I have relatives that are gay but Ella Frank really hit the nail on the
head because their reaction is one that I have seen over and over again.
I really don’t want to give too much away with this story
because you all need to read it but make sure and read Try first. I can’t tell
you enough how beautiful and heart felt this story is. Yes its steamy and hot
oh man is it hot but it’s the connections that these two have that really makes
it such a wonderful and beautiful story. These two could give everyone a lesson
on what it means to sacrifice for love and say screw the world and what it
thinks is right and wrong.
I hope that we get to follow their story even further and I
will be first in line to get their next book if it comes out because these two
men have won my heart and I wouldn't have it any other way. Cheers to you Ella Frank
and thank you for bringing Logan and Tate into my life.

EXCERPT
“That’s your truck?”
“Yes.”
“It’s so…”
“So what?” Logan challenged
as he pulled his keys from his pocket.
“Old?”
“Excuse me. I’ll have you
know I was driving this baby all through college and she still runs like a
dream.”
Tate watched as Logan
walked over to run his hand over the scratched-up tailgate, and he was amazed
that he even made that look sexy. Like he was stroking a lover.
“And it’s a she, huh?”
Now around at the
passenger’s side, Logan opened the door and looked at him over the bed of the
truck. “Yeah. Jealous?”
Laughing, Tate walked over
to where Logan stood with a hand on the door and kissed him slowly on the
mouth.
“I’m jealous of anything
you stroke like that.”
“Get in the truck, Tate.”
“Or else?”
Logan stepped forward,
crowding him back against the inside frame of the vehicle. “You’re not ready
for the or else…”
