I can't believe this is the end of the Sunder boys. I'm so ridiculously happy and so sad at the same time because one of my favorite series has come to a conclusion. But in her beautiful, lyrical fashion, AL Jackson ended this series with an emotional bang in Zee and Alexis and brought it full circle in the most heartfelt way possible. 

Zee has been the quiet and steady member of the band since his brother died. From the start he's been the one trying to keep the band together and happy. As he's watched all this band brother's find the loves of their lives, he happily stood on the sidelines glad that they're finally succeeding and healthy. But there is more to Zee and as his story played out, it becomes clear that Zee is just as troubled as his band mates, he's just living a secret life so as not to upset the balance. 

Ever since he was a young boy, Zee idolized his brother. But when the worst happened, Zee believes he became the catalyst for it all and bears the responsibility of seeing his brother's dream a reality. But when he meets Alexis, everything he promised himself gets sidetracked because there is an undeniable connection formed and he seems unable to let it go. Even as he tries. He knows he can't be what he wants to be with Alexis but he is unable to let her go causing all his plan to spin out of control until he has no option but reveal the secrets he's carried for seven years. 

I knew Zee's story was going to be emotional but I always forget just how well Ms. Jackson writes emotions because they were spilling off the page making my heart beat out of my chest. I've loved Zee from the start but he really came into his own in the story and even if some of his decisions wouldn't be ones I would have made, I understand his dilemma and only wanted the best for him. And that was Alexis. She was the perfect match for Zee. She was strong and yet not overpowering. Her patience and steadfast loyalty made her exactly what Zee (and the rest of the Sunder family) needed. 

This series will go down as one of my favorite rock star romances. I loved each installment. I loved how each story built on the last. And I love how each man of Sunder loves.  I cannot recommend this series highly enough.
