Blurb
Two strangers in Paris ...
One passionate, earth-shattering kiss.
He was the artist upstairs
with the tantalizing smile and laughing eyes.
He was the devil inviting me to sin
seducing me to dance in the bright moonlight.
He was desire and need.
When he touched me, my body sang--
my soul came alive.
But I belonged to another man,
and he didn't want to let me go.

My Review
Love Me in the Dark was an angsty and emotional story of a women trying to find her place in the world and a man who lost his. Sabastien and Valentina never really should have met. But on an unexpected trip to Paris, Valentina has one scorching hot kiss with a stranger and everything starts falling apart -- or maybe everything is finally falling into place.
Valentina is married but her marriage is anything besides hearts and flowers. But what she thinks is a last ditch effort on behalf of her husband William, she travels to Paris and waits for her husband to join her. But he never does. Work and other things again come first and she's left to her own devices. When she happens upon an art show, she doesn't realize she shouldn't be there until a handsome stranger saves her with a kiss. Thus starting their journey of getting to know each other and quietly healing parts they didn't know needed it. But just when Valentina thinks she's got everything figured out, her husband comes back and proves that maybe what she doesn't quite understand her place just yet.
Right from the start my heart was in my throat. I could feel the tension and heartbreak in both Valentina and Sabastien and even William,Valentina's husband when we first get introduced to him. As their story progressed, I loved seeing Valentina come out of her shell which made the last part of the book that much more painful. Sabastien was a mysterious but sexy and intriguing character. I loved that he let Valentina take the lead even if at times I was wringing my hands with their pace. And I was most definitely invested in watching William's role play out. It was as fascinating as it was heartbreaking. I did feel that the ending wasn't as powerful as most of the rest of the story was. After all the turmoil I wanted just a bit more. Overall though, this was a pretty stellar contemporary romance if you like love stories that ride the line of what's right and what's wrong.

Author Bio
I'm a writer, a hopeless romantic, a wanderer, a dreamer, a cynic, and a believer. And, I might be a bit crazy - but who isn't?
I believe in happy endings however I know that not everyone is lucky enough to get one, but such is life. I think fine lines exist to be pushed and possibly crossed.
Love,
M.
