My name is Melody Greene, and I have a confession to make.
I slept with my student, a senior in high school.
Multiple times.
I had multiple orgasms.
In multiple positions.
I slept with my student and I enjoyed it.
I slept with my student and I’d do it all over again if I could turn back time.
My name is Melody Greene, and I got kicked out of my position as a teacher and did my walk of shame a la Cersei Lannister from the principal’s office, minutes after said principal threatened to call the cops on me.
My name is Melody Greene, and I did something bad because it made me feel good.
Here is why it was totally worth it.

Defy is a smutty, insta-love, insta-lust short novella. Defy is a prequel to Vicious (Sinners of Saint #1). It is recommended, but unnecessary, to read Defy before reading Vicious.

Well, knock my socks off -- literally. (you'll get it if you've read the book lol). I loved this. I'm gonna be honest, I was so nervous. Like really nervous. I have only ever *really* liked two student/teacher romances. I taught school so reading about these kinds of relationships is always hard for me. So in all honesty I was a little bit apprehensive to read this. But holy, WOW. I LOVED it. Like couldn't stop and even when I felt a *tad* uncomfortable, I was salivating for more and didn't want it to end.

Melody is a teacher at the local elite high school. Doing a job that was never in her plans, she realizes that her job is on the line. Her life isn't going the way she hoped and hitting the principal's son's car, which is worth more than she makes a year, is kind of the last straw. But when Jaime comes out to find his car totaled, he takes his chance. Blackmailing Melody into a pseudo-relationship, Melody and Jaime begin a taboo relationship that could not only ruin Melody's career but pretty much her whole life. What starts as one thing, quickly develops into something that defies logic.

Defy was sexy as sin, crazy as hell, and it didn't feel like a novella at all. It was detailed and developed and introduced a whole set of characters that I cannot wait to read about.
