My Review
You're the Only One is a friends to lovers romance standalone about two people who slowly realize that the perfect match has been right in front of them the whole time. Sky and Dillion's story had just a bit of angst, a unique secondary plot and so much sweetness.
Sky and Dillion moved to New York to not only try to make it big: Dillion in music and Sky in fashion, but to get away from their less than perfect childhoods. Always navigating everything together, it takes each starting to fall for someone else that brings them to the conclusion that maybe they don't need to look that far for love. Yet changing everything they've ever known isn't easy and not wanting to ruin the life they've created makes them wary to change things now. But as their lives change; their feelings become too much to ignore.
I read this in one sitting. I loved the back and forth friendship between Sky and Dillion. Their relationship was so authentic that I was rooting for them from the start. Watching them fall into different relationships made my heart beat a little faster but with the low angst, it was always obvious how important they were to each other. Add in more than one emotional scene and I really enjoyed this story.
