***RELEASE BLITZ*** The Player by K Bromberg

Baseball has never been sexier in an all-new novel by New York Times Bestselling Author, K. Bromberg. Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything. So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it’s not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather, his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him. Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on. And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to maintain the club’s best interest, in regards to whether he’s ready to play. But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat, or is one of them bound to get burned?

 REVIEW

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't realise it was a duet!! i actually wanna cry!! lol

Easton Wylder picked up an injury that required the best PT. The Ace's hire the best there is Dalton. Easton is expecting Doc Dalton. He gets Doc's daughter Scout. Easton's only concern is getting back in the game. Sidelined for months already he needs to get back.

Scout is used to the reaction she gets from players. When Easton thinks she's part of his team mates prank's by pretending to be a PT he gets straight under her skin. She has to get him fit so that she can win a long term contract with the Ace's. Doesn't mean she has to like him.

Forced together by different goals the two of them work well. But can they open up to each other on a personal level?

I've never seen a baseball game let alone know anything about it so i was a little anxious the terminology might bore or baffle me. I needn't have worried. It's so well written i didn't need to know anything about it. There's enough here to explain things but not bore me to death lol.

I love both characters!! Scout is strong and sassy in an all male world. "Clear mind, hard heart". As the story unravels i love how she opens up like a flower! I have to admit there were a few times i felt like shaking her for running away, but as it goes on Easton's personality helps her open up and force her to face things. Her growth is amazing which is why the cliffie kills me!!

Easton is just swoonalicious!!! Ohh my gosh!!! he's just so... Hot... and ummm.... sexy.... umm and wow... and ummm.... i can't even... sighhhhhhhh* Perfect if I'm honest. The imagery painted of him by the author made me fall hard for him. Sports book boyfriend heaven!! I love how he's sweet but still manly! lol Does that make sense. He's sweet and cute and awwwwwwwwwwwww i'll say "Lifesavers" and when you read that part you'll know what i mean. But, he's not weak he's quite pushy actually and i love that!

The two of them go together like mac & cheese! Their connection is instant. They read each other so well they were meant to be.

The supporting characters were interesting and drew you in and added a little something to the story.

The plot was steady and unraveled at a leisurely pace. I was fully engrossed and didn't put it down until i had finished.

The end though... seriously... one of those times i could have smashed my kindle to pieces! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I say i hate cliffies... i do... but the excitement for book 2.... yeah I'm waiting with baited breath for that badboy! GIVE IT TO ME!!!!

So although i feel like apprehending the author and making her finish book 2 now and not by July *insert serious crying face* I highly recommend this book!!! Fantastic sports romance that will have you swooning and drooling all over the place... those baseball pants though yum!! wiggle wiggle!
