I want to prove my worth, show them what I have.
I may be flawed; we all are.
But I'm smart, driven, and ready to take on the world.
No one needs to know the rest.
I wasn't counting on him, couldn't imagine someone like him coming into my life.
The blue eyes, the chiseled body, the man I can't resist.
Truthfully, I have no plans of ever resisting him.
He has the carefree, playboy life he wants,
The one he created and refuses to give up.
But he didn't count on me waltzing in and changing everything.
Gray can't deny his passion for me—all parts of me,
Even the truth I try to bury—the flaws he knows I'm hiding.
And trust me, he's imperfect too.
But sometimes, we need more than love—more than we can give.

My Review
Oh sweet heaven, this one was hard to read. My heart hurts. Bad. I can't even imagine how this will play out in the next book but I need it. ASAP.
Bound is about Annie. Annie has demons that she's never really put to rest so when she meets Gray, they all come bubbling back to the surface. As Annie and Gray begin their relationship, the reality isn't always happy. It's hard. When two people have issues, the relationship has issues and their relationship is full of ups and downs. While Gray and Annie may love each other, love doesn't make to imperfect people suddenly perfect. It widens cracks and shows that real love is no more perfect than the people involved.
Read the authors note at the start of this book. Honestly, it's what made me hang on when I wasn't sure I could take anymore. This story was hard to read in more than one place. It was so realistic that my heart ached and I became pretty frustrated. But I always came back to the beginning and realized that even in the hard parts, the story deserved to be read and experienced. I'm so glad I stuck to it because once again, Ms. Walls proved that even if she writes heroines that don't always feel like heroines to me, she does it well and always does them justice. So my advice is to read this prepared to go through the reality of two flawed people, but *read* it.
