Lucas has had a lot going on the last four years and he realized the type of man he was turning into so he decided to make a change. Its been going well and he has been happy with his new commitments and is determined just to focus on school and his family. But then when his new neighbor moves in, there is something about her that pulls him in. She is determined to think the worst of him- and at a time in his life- those feelings were well deserved. But right now, he wants nothing more than Andie to be able to trust him. He can tell there is something about her- a reason why is a self-proclaimed ‘flight risk’ and he is demined to wait it out until she is ready to let her guard down around him.
But when Andie continuously thinks the worst of Lucas, how much can he take? Just when things are starting to get good- Lucas finds out a secret that has him questioning everything that has happened between them.
Will Andie ever be able to let her guard down enough to let Lucas in? Will she ever be able to trust another man besides her brother?
This was a fun, fast, sweet college romance. Lucas was so sweet and understanding- I just wanted to give him a hug. Andie’s fears are very warranted but I wanted to shake her sometimes.
This started out as a slow, questionable read for me but as I read I got sucked in and ended up loving the storyline. Its filled with lust, passion and suspense.
The next book in the series… ‘The No Badboy Rule’ will be coming soon and I am so hoping it is between two of the characters we were introduced to. Their storyline already has me sucked in and I just know it is going to be a phenomenal read!
