Synopsis

Wyatt Conner is a hard man. A sixth generation sheriff in his hometown of Garnet. A former MMA fighter. His life is about following the rules and making sure everyone else in Garnet follows them too.

Before life hurt him, Wyatt was different. Love had once blinded him to his upbringing and made him defiant against anyone who tried to separate him from the girl he loved. He easily broke laws to ensure her safety.

When she left it destroyed him.

Now she's back.

Tabitha knew coming home was a mistake, but family obligation demanded it. She wasn’t expecting to run smack into the love of her life the same day she returned.

Despite the danger, Tabitha is powerless against the wild rush of desire that explodes between them the moment she finds herself in Wyatt’s arms again. She needs a second chance too, but she can't risk Wyatt finally discovering the real reason she left.

Even for another taste of true love.

Tabitha knows her haunted past will destroy both of them if Wyatt finds out. What she suffered through was too terrible and it's the one thing that will have him crossing the line for revenge.

My Review

I was certain Wyatt's story was not gonna be as good as Jules and Romeo's... But I was soooooooo wrong.. Omg I loved Crossing The Line so much more.
With hints in the previous books about Tabitha, the lady that broke Wyatt's heart. I really didn't know how I was going to like her... But after the first Chapter, I was totally falling in love with her.

Tabitha comes back to Garnet when her mother falls sick. The last place she wants to be, but will suffer for the sake of her mum. When memories of her horrid past, comes back she finds her self slowing on the downslide to a full blown panic.

The money, the leaking roof, her mother slowly wasting away, it all faded to the background as the reality of standing in this house again really hit her. It was a physical incarnation of the nightmares that had plagued her the past thirteen years...

When Wyatt finds her on the side of the road, Tabitha officially regrets coming back. All along you know Wyatt is holding onto some serious hurt and anger but finding Tabitha on the side of the road brings out his soft side and you really can see his love for her.  After taking care of Tabby they both find the intense pull too much to bear and both succumb to temptation, giving us one holy hot sex scene.

Wyatt reached up and fisted her hair as if losing the tight hold on his urges. He tugged her forward and claimed her lips without asking. His kiss was harsh and demanding , but Tabitha parted to him rather than freeze, letting him own what belonged to him.

The story then takes us back to the start. When they first meet at primary school. You learn about their history. And while you love seeing Wyatt and Jules as kids your heart breaks for Tab and her home life. It really is horrible.
You fall in love with her but are anxiously waiting for that one point where is all goes bad.

I loved reading how they become friends, with Clay and Wyatt fighting. I loved being in Tabitha's head with her stories, how she viewed the world.

When you finally get to the point of how it all went wrong, you really feel heartbroken, for both of them. Life sometimes just isn't fair. The letter... so freaking heartbreaking...

I'm sorry. I know the moon would've been easier.
I will never, not until the day I stop breathing air, regret what we had together. My Childhood was beautiful because of you.

Back in the present, Tab and Wyatt find themselves back in each others life, with Tab hiding the secret of why she left. But the past has a funny way of coming back when your desperately trying to hide it.
How will Wyatt react to truth, will it push him away and do something that can't be undone?

The self- loathing was the worst, hazing his vision and making his chest tight.

I just loved this one soo much. Reading these books always makes me smile at the funny banter, quick wit, and sexual innuendos. I love that while each story focuses on the two main characters you learn so much about each of the other family members as well. They each have their own quirks, kinks, and history that keeps coming out little by little keeping me wanting more. Definitely make sure you read this series as it continues to come out-you won't be disappointed.
I can not wait for Novo's story, though a while away, I think his story will be epic!

My Review

After escaping an abusive Husband Melody Dylan finds herself in the small country Town Garret. Working double shifts to make ends meet, she meets professional Fighter Clay Powers.

Big and mean looking Clay, isn't use to the act of kindness that Melody shows him. What soon starts as a friendship, turns into something a lot more. Steamy, sexy and fun Melody and Clay fall hard and fast.
With both of them dealing with shitty pasts, they both confide in each other and find that together they just fit.

“He hadn't spent a lifetime pushing women away only to be taken down by a piece of pumpkin pie.”

While Clay fights his demons in the cage, Melody by his side. Together they must face the demons of Melody's past.. Can they overcome evil together?

“I thought I was broken too, that I’d never trust women, but I had it all wrong. I wasn’t broken at all. I was just waiting for you. It’s always been yours; even before we met, it belonged to you.”

I really enjoyed this one, it was sweet and cute but sexy steamy and Hot hot hot.
I loved Melody, she was so sweet and Clay badass Fighter but around Melody was just swoon worthy.
I'm really looking forward to Romeo's story.

Star Crossed Book # 2 The Battered Heart Series

Synopsis

Heavyweight MMA fighter, Romeo Wellings comes from the hard streets of New York where his family ties to the mafia cause him nothing but pain. His life takes a surprising detour when he crosses paths with the twin sister of his long time enemy. After a steamy one-night stand, he faces the fight of his life, but it’s not in the cage. The secret relationship that blooms between Romeo and his real life Juliet has him battling his family and a dark past rather than let her go.

The only lawyer in her hometown of Garnet, Jules Conner is also a volunteer Sheriff’s deputy and co-owner of a successful MMA training center. Strong and dependable, Jules is always there for those who need her. Until one forbidden night in Las Vegas with Romeo leaves her feeling so alive she can’t stop reaching out to the sexy, bad boy of MMA, even knowing the forbidden love affair could jeopardize everything.

As the tide rises against them and the people they love work at keeping them apart, Romeo and Jules hold onto a dream for a better life together and vow to go down fighting rather than accept a tragic ending

My Review

After just losing the title to Clay Powers, Romeo inadvertently dodges a bullet. Meant to throw the fight to get his brothers out of trouble with their Mafia ties. Romeo really doesn't want to and decides to win. But Clay beat him fair and square.
Later that night, Romeo steps in and save' Clay's girlfriend, Melody from her crazy Ex Husband.
When Juliet, Clay's best friend/ Lawyer, goes into damage control and invites Romeo to dinner as a thanks.
Romeo and Jules have instant chemistry, undeniable sexual tension and end up in bed for one steamy night in Vegas.

When Jules packs up heads home the next day, Romeo isn't prepared for the feelings that he seems to have the strong woman.
What starts as a one night stand, turns into some form of relationship that develops over a few months over the phone, and texting. I loved this side of their relationship. Getting to know each other over the phone. Not to mention the sexy time!! HOT
When Clay offers Romeo to head to Garnet to train with him in preperation of his next fight, Romeo jumps at the chance.
Being with Jules is intense after months of getting to know each other they fall into seeing each other perfectly. Only in secret.

“I think I’m falling in love with you.”
“Good thing,” Romeo choked out, his hold on her tightening to the point that it was almost hard to breathe. “’Cause I
know I’m in love with you.”

I freaking loved Romeo. Omg so hot. He is the epitome of sexy bad boy. I loved his brothers. But found myself getting angry at them for the shit he had to do. Novo and Tino's link to the Mafia always putting Romeo in danger.
When shit gets out of hand, Romeo finds himself on the run, but Jules won't let him go.

“Please don’t make me let go yet, Romeo. I’m not ready.”

Together they take on danger and for a few seconds had me holding on for dear life waiting on the outcome... Intense!!!

Will Romeo and Juliet find themselves in a tragic end? Or can they rewrite their future. One together, with no lies, not crime. Just love ?

I loved this one MORE than defying the Odds. I loved Romeo, he was just perfection. Fun and sexy...

“I like ’em feisty. Especially with that twangy accent you got going on. I’d give my last UFC check to see you in a pair of Daisy Duke shorts. With those long legs, I bet they’d look amazing.”

You have some squirm worthy sex scenes, a bit of mystery and danger. Kele weaved a story the kept me reading until the story was done, and anxiously looking for the next one. Enjoy!

  3. Yes, i believe in second chances. There will always be things to make each situation different but time does change people, they mature, learn to deal with personal/commitment issues and past heartbreak and if there is stiff affection and love between the two people than I think it is worth the second chance. I think it is worth the risk of heartbreak at the chance to find true love.

  4. I do believe in second chances as long as the first time around break up may have been due to conflicting feelings, misunderstanding, or secrets that may of been to much for someone to handle at the time. But if there was cheating involved...HELL NO!
