MY REVIEW 

When I first picked up Jenner's Debut, I was prepared for....

A sexy Aussie male...
Hang on, a sexy, tattered, Aussie male.
A cute Aussie Sheila, who bakes pies. (Shelia... Aussie slang for woman)
Sex. Hot sex. Sex that would make me wanna lick my Kindle.... (don't judge me, did you see her teaser pics??? )
Fun and witty banter.
More sex. Possibly sex on a motor bike.. hahahaha
Overall I was expecting a Fun, Hot, Sexy, New Adult read.


What I ended up getting was ....

GET me off the FUCKING RIDE...
I want homemade pies!  And cute virgins, who have hot motorcycle sex with sexy ass men.
Hell, I'd settle for hot sex with homemade pies.... Hang on what??

Sugartown will go down as the biggest, WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK did I just read? Book of 2013


Sugartown sits smack bang on the highway in the middle of nowhere. It's a quaint little town and a pleasant enough place to stop on your journey from there to anywhere but here, but no one ever stays. It's surrounded on both sides by nothing but cane fields and the ancient sugar mill.

19 yr old Ana Belle has lived in Sugartown her whole life.
She spends her days baking pies, looking after her super freaking cute little brother and keeping her crazy ass friend, Holy, in check. All in a days work for the sweet little virgin better known as the town whore.. (gotta love the rumour mill of a small town.)

Ana Belle's life is about to be turned upside down when one day, her not so prince charming, happily ever comes riding in on a beat up motorcycle.


Elijah Cade, Australia's best kept secret. Tall, hotter then hell, Sex God.
Elijah has a past and more secrets then you can poke a stick at. Elijah meets Ana Belle, his new bosses daughter, and wants more than just her delicious pies, but Ana plays hard to get which builds for some serious sexual tension.

While Ana and Elijah's relationship is a slow build, you're not left hanging. Between the fun and witty banter between Ana and her bestie Holly.

You find yourself laughing your ass off at all these crazy people and their antics 

You have what seems a perfect build up to some serious, sweet and swoon worthy romance.. right?

WRONG!!! 

It was kinda like one of those times where something happens to you and you're just so blown away by the absolute craziness of it all that you just are left speechless...

Yeah that was me 47% in.

Jenna has you comfortable, ready to get it on with the sexy Elijah Cade... 

Cue Marvin Gaye, Let's get it on. 

But what you really get is a whole lot of craziness. Wild fucking craziness. And heartache. Heart pounding fuck ups and stupid stupid decisions.
It's more like cue Slipknot's, Wait and Bleed.

Ana and Elijah's story is only just beginning. When Elijah's secrets come back to haunt him, Ana finds herself in the cross wire.
Shoot outs, Biker Gangs, Murder, Rape. You name it. 

It's one thing after another. I'm not going to tell you how it goes down, cause trust me, you will definately wanna enjoy the ride, but let me tell you, I buddy read this with  my good friend, Jodie, from Fab, Fun & Tantalizing Reads. And even with the support of a fellow blogger, I have never been left so raw and emotional fucked over.  EVER!

Carmen delivers pure genius plot twists and turns. Elijah and Ana make very very bad decisions that normally would have me unable to forgive.

 But what blew my mind was Carmen's ability to pull me back. I had no control over the emotions and forgiveness my heart was willing to show these 2 crazy kids.

"I fucked up, baby girl," I whisper. She nods and more tears roll down her face. I smooth them from her skin with my thumbs. "Tell me how to fix it." 

Ana gently shakes her head. "I don't think you can." 

"Yes I can. I can fix this," I say resolutely. "I'll put us back together with my bare hands, just don't walk away. No more secrets, no more mistakes." 

Total effing swoon right there...

I loved that the repercussions to their actions weren't just some piss poor effort to fill in time. It was real and raw and you're feeling along with them. You're heartbroken for them. 

"I need you, Ana. I'm fucking dying without you baby...." 

"I dont have anything left!" I shout. "I gave you everything I had and you tore it all up. I can't allow you to do that again. I wouldn't be the girl you love if I let you destroy me again." 

Their decisions and actions cost them so much, that when they do get to a place to heal again, it's not rushed. It's building the trust again and not allowing their pain to prevent them from moving forward. 

No one will ever be deserving enough of Ana Belle, least of all me, and yet here she is, trusting me with her heart, her secret, her safety. 

I hold her in my arms and we cry together.....

The fact that this is a debut just blows my mind. Carmen delivers an insane, intense and intriguing roller coaster ride. Her gift of pulling laughter from me one minuite to being in a complete fit of rage the next was horrifying and thrilling at the same time. I completely devoured it. Normally you can tell where an author is gonna take a scene or what direction it seems to be heading... Not Carmen, you aint got her figured out. She crazy and you're just along for the ride. You'll be sitting there  and next minute you'll be thinking.

Yep she did.. And you will love every freaking second of it...
