***RELEASE BLITZ*** Flip Trick by Amo Jones

Flip Trick, an all-new standalone bad-boy romance by Amo Jones is NOW AVAILABLE!!

I did something I had never done before.
I had a one-night stand.
Then in true me fashion, I left my phone at his house during my desperate venture to escape.
I tried hard to ignore the texts sent to my best friend’s phone...
Amethyst: Sup, these selfies are cute as shit, but your lips looked better wrapped around my…
I did NOT text him back.
I DID vow to never speak of him, or that night again...
I’m Amethyst Lily Tatum, and up until this point, I’d managed to maintain a fairly low-key life. I’m what you would call a socially unacceptable hot mess. Instead of partying, I’m skating, flipping ollie’s over guys who loved to underestimate me. Then I started college, met a wild girl who I would soon call my best-friend, had my first drunk one-night stand, left my phone at his house, and then, when I finally managed to meet my mom’s new boyfriend, I found out that my one-night stand, was now my new stepbrother.
*this is a standalone novel*

Review

I've only read a few Amo books so i wasn't sure what to expect to be honest. I'm really happy to say i bloody loved it!!!

Amethyst is socially awkward but she doesn't care. She's not bothered by what people think of her. She's a product of a broken home but she luckily has a great relationship with both her parents. She's started college but she's not interested in parties unlike her roommate. She thought they wouldn't get on but in a strange way they fit. In a one off Ame goes out drinking with her roommate, gets absolutely sozzled and wakes up in a strange mans room. She escapes as quick as she can vowing never to speak of it again.

Her mom has been in touch and wants to see her. She has a new man in her life and wants Ame to meet him and his children. She begrudgingly turns up only to come face to face with her one night stand!

This is the start of a difficult road for Ame and Maddox. Fate stands in their way more times than any relationship should be able to take. Will fate finally throw them together.

I really really loved it. Sometimes i don't want a story to be an easy "oh we're in love after 2 weeks and live happily ever after" sometimes i want them to have a fight on their hands. Life isn't always easy, it's not all sunset strolls on the beach and having babies. Sometimes it's a long hard slog and this is exactly what this story depicts.

I loved Ame she's quirky and funny and extremely resilient. She goes on quite a tough journey of highs and lows and how she deals with them often had me breaking my heart a little for her. She couldn't always cope but boy did she fight.

Maddox although he comes across as a badboy he really isn't. He's tough as hell but that doesn't mean he has no morals. I loved how chivalrous he is and also pretty romantic.

It was great how these two fit together. I loved their connection you could feel it bone deep even when they weren't together.

I got through most of the book not really knowing what was going to come next. I loved the flow of it because there was probably a chance that it could have been a bit disjointed, but it was definitely not the case here. There were ups and downs, and downs and ups, and round and rounds but it just made me love it more because i really didn't know if the ending was going to be good or bad.

The plot gripped me from the start. The twists and turns kept me turning those pages. It's a little different from most things out there and that is always a winner for me.

The side characters also gripped me. I started to worry i was going to have to beg for their stories too but thankfully it was all covered in this book.

Loved it!!! Recommend it!!!

5 Stars!!!

Amo Jones is a small country girl totally winging this author thing (she's probably doing it all wrong). She likes cake, loves wine, and her religion is magic. She's a profound work-a-holic, but when she's not writing, you can find her chilling with her kids & partner at the nearest beach, with a cocktail in her hand.
