Synopsis
Dylan Farrow puts on his pants every morning one leg at a time, just like everyone else at the Kerrigan Advertising Agency. He handles high-pressure projects with a fast turnaround. He's prized for his keen intellect and admirable performance. But how did he get where he is today-to the level of Junior Executive of Design Production?
Well, that involves how he takes his pants off... and for whom...
Hoping to break through the glass ceiling under which she's been trapped for years, Valerie Caplan picks up her life and moves to Seattle. After hearing about the position of Senior Executive of Design Production from an art director at Kerrigan, she decides to apply. When she lands the big interview, she never thinks for a minute that she'll have any serious competition. She assumes that she has the job in the bag...until she discovers that the only competition has something she doesn't have-the willingness to go outside the office to impress Danica Stewart, their uptight female boss.
My Review
If you love a fun flirty office romances then this is definitely
a book you will want to read!
The book opens with Valerie an independently strong woman who
has just moved in Seattle in order obtain a job at a major advertising company.
But to her surprise she quickly learns that the hot ass man who
rode in the same the elevator only moments ago is not only the
hottest man she ever laid eyes on but he is also her competition for the position.
As if realizing elevator guy was also interviewing wasn’t
enough, Valerie is quickly summoned into the interview room alongside Dylan;
elevator guy. Here, she is informed that not only is he in the running for the same
single position, but that she is to partner up with the sex on a stick
Jr. ad exec and work as a team collaborating on a high profile campaign
A campaign that by its end will give one of them the job. Leaving the other…empty handed.
A campaign that by its end will give one of them the job. Leaving the other…empty handed.
Now both Dylan and Valarie are educated, qualified and
determined, so this should be really be anyone’s game.
But there is one huge difference…
The difference lies in their work ethics. Where Valarie
works hard and has been slowly climbing the corporate latter by putting in late
nights, sacrificing friendships and romantic involvement, she is simply all
about her job and making it on her own.
Despite how lonely she actually may be. Knowing a bit about Dylan's less than stellar work ethic, Valerie believes she's got this in the bag.

While Dylan has
ummm pretty much seduced and screwed himself into getting each position he has
ever wanted and now with the prospect of an even bigger promotion he is
convinced that he will seduce his new boss into giving him the position. Dylan feels he's got it in the bag.
And so the competition begins…
Oh, I forgot to mention that these two have a crazy
attraction to each other and that they are determined to ignore it and focus on
winning the job. Oh and that the campaign they have been given is for Labelle
Lingerie!
What follows is a fast paced witty story that has sooo much chemistry and sexual tension that I was dying for Dyaln and Valerie to
just friggin’ give into their sexual attraction! I loved all the competitive
campaign moments; but for me the parts I loved were watching these two trying
to deny their growing attractions and feelings for one another. I really like Valerie and how much of a little firecracker she could be and especially how she didn't take Dylan's shit. Most of all though, I loved how she finally takes the reins and goes for what she wants in the end. Dylan!
Dylan is your typical hot confident jerk-store of a man
that you just can help to love. I loved getting his POV in the story;
especially getting to witness the affects Valerie was having on him, especially as she models some sexy pink lingerie and basically demands him to give her what he's been aching for. Despite being a bit
of a slut, but by books end he proves his worth as actual boyfriend material.
And I was left a little bit smitten with this little -seducing- his -way -to -the -top bad boy of a man!

All and all this was a great read, Dylan and Valerie are great
characters with awesome chemistry making this one worth the read!
